Yes. Apparently Isaac hated him. Someone mentioned the doc after a show and Isaac said something along the lines of "I hate that fucker." or something, and someone said "Dude, he's dead! Give him a break" and Isaac just said "I really don't give a shit, I hated him."

No. It has been played live more than one other time. I have a show where they play it, but it is abandoned because the guitar cuts out about halfway through. They also play The Fruit That Ate Itself. I also know a woman who saw Modest Mouse in 97 (the show is missing on Interstate-8(dot)com) and she said they played it. She is an old woman who works at a record shop, and I really don't see why she would lie about it.

The best part about this documentary is not the music. Shit, we all know all of their music. What I find fascinating is his language, stories, at that age which humanize this person that his been made into a God. Thinking about how this guy who is borrowing a dollar to buy a beer is about to sign with Epic records after they release this album.

The whole conversation at the park made me realize that he's really a pretty normal guy. He doesn't just spout universal truths; he works a lot on the lyrics he writes. Sure he has interesting stories to tell, but it's good to know that when he's not in front of a stage he doesn't care about being center of attention.
