PC has the best graphics on all games, because most games in console needs to render the graphics first so it can be HD, to render those you have to move closer. But for the PC that never happens, all you need is a good PC!

the xboxs graphics card is in the series of 2000 ati radeon or higher

Consoles are very close. The.controller is what matters. Ps3 wins here but Xbox will have better support. I still can't decide which one as I have both consoles. May by for both. Will be great on both! But...wish I had a pc because it will clearly win with bigger maps and graphical detail.

GO CHECK IT OUT ON THE LENS OF TRUTH. ps3 clearly wins. You can see that 360 uses some sort of static lighting system, where as ps3 using dynamic. So the lights in 360 version don't cause any glare but ps3 version does making ps3 version look more believable. 360 version so bright that its almost cartoon like.

What i don't understand is why the comparison on the PC was run on an obviously low end PC, I have a two year old PC and can run the game on ultra settings and am getting around 105 FPS and it looks lush and plays sweet, the beta download was over 3Gig in size

I have also downloaded on both an xbox 360 and ps3 'arond 700MB download,, scratches head', In my opinion the console are very similar

but one massive reason that the XBOX wins hands down is the network speed, the ps3 was fine but constant mini lags handicapped your K/D, on the xbox, it was sweet and constant thruput. My worry for PS3 is this, 'who is going to facilitate the server position, PC users can rent dedicated ranked servers which all users can connect to and xbox have microsoft to back them with the xbox live subscription

id say PC>XBOX>PS3 why? because i think the PC wins thats for sure but in consoles colors look washed out i have both consoles and the lightning is not better atleast in my 1080p tv i set the brightness to the same level also the xbox can render the graphics better then the ps3 for example your running around on the ps3 and random stuff starts popping up like rocks and detail its a beta i know and might change alot on final release but now im with PC then xbox then PS3 not a fanboy.

All platforms look nearly identical. Of course, PC is the best looking, but its not by a long shot. Then again, when the actual game comes out, it will probably be capable of running it on the hightest setting, but even then, it wont be a humongus difference. @IraqiDonut There are a couple of guns that are hideously overpowered - UMP45, PP2000, M416 so as soon as you have any lag you're dead sometimes before you even get the red damage indication. But... it's the beta, so that should all change by launch.

@killerofkillers I doubt there are going to be many changes to the graphics before launch. The beta is more about testing for glitches and balance. But also don't forget that what you're seeing here is not what you'll see on your TV/Monitor as the footage has been rendered not once, but twice. Once to make the video, and then again by YouTube.

i agree that ps3 looks a little better, not by all that much but it is noticable. PC obviously way better. The subway tunnels are really dark on the xbox 360 so i had to turn the brightness way up in the settings, on ps3 i could see just fine even into the distance.

360 has better AA. Color saturation can be compensated for in TV settings. DICE is pretty good about the multiplatform thing.

Even on my non gaming laptop, the pc version is a lot better graphically but with everything, you must make sacrifices and in the end it's the gameplay that matters and that comes down to your team mates and opponents. Nice comparison though having all 3 up there. I do like the xbox saturation much better than the ps3.

The graphics are just fine on xbox, although theres a set of concrete blocks on the bravo side of the map that doesn't even appear until you're about 50 meters from it. So you can see enemies approaching although you can't shoot them. I'm really enjoying the gameplay and feel of it. My main complaint for the Beta is the EA servers that keep sputtering out. That, and the hit notification. Seems like you die instantaneously.

On PS3 things pop in on your screen once you get quite close, I'd be running down the road and then the railings would just appear right in front of me, as well as bushes on the first base. Xbox there's some frame rate issues occasionally and I personally like the saturation, I like colour, I always find PS3 games to look quite dull, but that's just my preference. I would rate them equally tbh.

I heard that the PS3 was much better than the 360 but this proves there is a very slight difference. I can't really tell a difference of quality between PC and consoles but I know PC just wipes the floor in terms of graphics.

I can never tell the difference between 360 and ps3, I read something that says ps3 always has frame rate issues though, but I can imagine that is because most games are made for 360, then ported to other platforms. Not sure how that will work for BF3 though, I know for a fact BC2 had frame rate issues on PS3, I run into it every now and then. It's huuuuuuuuugely obvious when a building is falling down, it drops to like 10fps if you're outside near it. Never played it on 360 so can't compare.

@Crana The difference in the way games run on the different platforms is all down to the porting. It pisses me off when you get a game on one system and it's obviously been signed off as "that'll do" just to make it run on the other system.  In this case, I played the beta on the PC first, then Xbox and when it loaded in I thought "Woah! this is too bright". But it's down to what you like and what you're used to.
