Again, I direct you to my channel. NO, we are not SCA. The SCA doesn't do anything like this.... if you take the time to dig a little bit and you can probably answer most of these questions yourself.
The blows to the body are actually pulled so as to not break anything, but none of them are mere little taps either. We get bruises and scrapes, but nothing broken. As dangerous as it can be, it comes down to practice and trust, and unfortunately, dialing it down a bit. Perhaps it's not full speed (safety reasons), but it's also not fighting from your knees or a choreographed kata, either.
@skallagrimmYour fights are good. I deslike kata choregraphed, i do it. I practis too fighting without choregraphed, and isn't easy to do that... Very good work ! Don't worry !
