Rula Zaki is showcasing her human trumpet playing abilities not her karaoke choosing abilities. She's excellent, period! While you're looking for something negative to say, why don't you add "bad lighting" and "dirty mirror"?! I'm sure you can find more you kill-joy.

By the way, I just listened to denise reis, and yes she's good, but she's not as good as Rula and here's why. If you listen carefully you'll hear that Denise is not always on pitch, she goes sharp and flat a lot. Her lip technique is also not as clear, it sounds pushed (which explains the pitchiness). This is not me being negative. You introduced the comparison, I'm simply responding with a more carefully studied comparison.

Well, you are right but any comparison between both artists are, itself, unfair.

Denise Reis is much more a singer and instrumentalist than simply a trumpet imitator (I'm not depreciating Rula Zaki work).

Denise uses this resource only as something extra, to enrich her show.

Any comparisons between them sounds like to compare apples and oranges.

I would pay to see both artists, but if the money wasn't enough, I would see Denise first :-)

But this is just my personal taste.
