I have this printer, any way to force it to use duplexing and borderless with anything other than "plain paper" . My old ip4300 would let me do border-less duplex prints on photo paper and all sorts of different paper settings. But sadly the head died on it and it wasn't worth getting it fixed. I like to do lots of printing with thicker 200-300gsm high grade paper, i find using the "other photo paper" setting produces good results, but it won't let me use duplex. :-(
@MasterGravitron Sorry. I've had a look in my printer's settings and it's not possible to print double sided using auto duplexing onto photo paper. I think it's A4 paper and another size? :(
@jimbrobb I'm no photo specialist but the photos that are produced by the printer do have a simmilar quality to the ones printed at a photo booth (boots, kodak) and if not , better. The resolution of the printer is 9600 x 2400 dpi so you should expect good results when using good quality photo paper and oem ink (i'm using the ink that came with the printer and unfortunately the oems price for new ink is pretty high when buying all cartridges!). This high quality means the blacks are black.
