That right hand technique you describe compared to what you actually do is misleading. Your right hand is not just going up and down at a constant 16th note pace. It is rather doing a rhythm pattern and accenting notes. It's no bother to me but some beginner might get the wrong idea.
as usual your going places that need reminding that they are there. I'm having fun with the motifs. I also appreciate the autographed CD and Monument Shine is still my favorite song..man that idea was so kool I LOVE IT!! As well as this rotw. As for the phillies well look at the bright side. I'm a cub fan and odds are you'll be back there next year. The phils are just that good and better than the rest of the NL. Be Blessed and thanks for another great rotw!!
By the way, I wasn't just talking about this video. This is a good video; I just didn't get how you made that funk style as you played the note? You mute, but ehm how exaclty is the technique? I wanna use it for the song Superstition by Steven Wonders. I know the lick, but not with funk on it, and it sounds better with funk.
yh but i have trouble making metal riffs, i have no idea why, i think im too picky, everything has to sound exactly the way i want it to and that rarely happens

@ballrigors1 - the right hand is only doing 1/16ths. The left hand controls the muting/rhythmic accents.

I love how you go into the background of the riffs rather than the technicality of them as a one off example unlike most teachers
