Watching this video I've no idea about Brookside except the opening titles and theme music but regarding the Nicam Stereo audio it makes me wish that I had a Nicam VCR instead of Mono. Where Long Play sounded all hissy and slightly muffled and Standard Play was slightly better but with the sound of it all crammed into one audio channel and not spread out yet still sounding a bit dull.

Judging by the picture quality I assume this is a Standard Play recording?

excellent show. Ya see younger people, Channel 4 was just as annoying in the 90s as today. At least the titles weren't squashed.
