@Dumbthumbs Wow, I din't realize my question was triple posted. Sorry. Thanks for the input (no pun) on the BEC. I am asking because I had two brownouts, and was thinking of going with the built in on my TR60A Sentry for the T-28. I know now it was the BEC because I found the leads to the board were loose. I'll just solder, inject hotglue, and use BEC as recommended.
I bet you could run that 10x5 if you just keep in mind that at full throttle your pushin it. I think most Turnigy Motors will take more amps than rated. I know for a fact you can't go higher than the rated CELLS!!!!!!!! How often do you run constantly at full throttle anyhow! Thanks for the info, I have the 3548-900 on a ultra stick with two 3s 2200 paralleled and I was thinking of changing to the 3548-1100 with the same batts to give the plane a little more ump.
Dumbthumbs, thanks for the info. Question: did you use a separate BEC or the built-in on the Plush. Thanks.

@twintap Hi Twintap, I use and highly recommend a separate BEC. I use the Turnigy 3A BEC. I have several of them in use and all are great.

@twintap I have never had problems with the built in sentry BEC's, they are all excellent, but when you go to 4S a BEC is a good idea!

Try 9x6?
Thanks again!!!

@gripchion
Thanks Grip! I will be flying the 9x5 on the maiden. I have ordered a 9x6
as well. I don't fly full-time WOT, but I like to be able to when I want :)
I may just end up with the 10x5 too. I use the same setup with the 10x8 on my Bandit (see fVK BAndit Watts Up tests) and get 1070Watts/62 Amps.
But that is only 5 seconds WOT per 30 seconds or more flight.
The motor is not suitable for 5S, let alone 6S.
Agreed the Turnigy motors can take a beating!!
