  • What shutter speeds did you use?

  • How did you keep focus so good? Follow focus or anything like that? Well done.

  • @samir0810 f/22

  • That is AWESOME!!! how do you make the colour go from black and white to normal?

  • HOW? do you slow it down like this?

  • I'm going to have to report this video for excess of butter :P

  • i was just wondering.. does anybody know why that on very high quality cameras when something fades in it looks really weird?

  • what lens did you use also?

  • @tylermitchell12 canon 16-35mm 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L, 50mm 1.4

  • lens and fps?

  • what program did you use to edit the video?

  • OMG THE ENDING WAS SO COOL!!!!!

  • @Screwdonis thanks! had a good sunset that day, had to do it

  • nice video mate...

  • @8charliefb thanks bruh, fan of your video too. awesome

  • nice work it looks great. I used Avid Media Composer instead to edit, just take in the quicktime files and apply a a slow mo, either way works. great work

  • @deeps10 i'll have to try out avid media composer sometime. always been curious about the avid workflow. thanks for the feedback! Cheers :)

  • Nice Job, what was your workflow--were there any 3rd party plugins involved? What was it edited on, looks pretty bitchin'

  • @1rushrush Thanks Brendan! Here was my workflow: Shot the footage in 60fps 720p (for slow motion in post), transferred files in the computer then imported in FCP using log and transfer, converted it to prores 422 using the Canon eos 60d plug in, from there I converted the clips to 24fps using cinema tools. That created the smooth slow motion effect without frame delays. Hope that helps!

  • @1rushrush Thanks! Edited on Fincal Cut Pro 7. Here was my workflow: Shot the footage in 60fps 720p (for slow motion in post), transferred files in the computer then imported in FCP using log and transfer, converted it to prores 422 using the Canon eos 60d plug in, from there I converted the clips from 60fps to 24fps using cinema tools. That instantly created the smooth slow motion effect without frame delays. Didn't really use any special 3rd party plug-ins. Hope that helps!

  • @FilmingYuProductions Does slowing the video in FC pro 7 make it look better than playing it in slow motion mode on the camera itself?

  • @FilmingYuProductions why do you convert from 60 to 24 fps post production? never saw the point of that.

  • @tylermitchell12 its the correct way to go. if you want your edit to look film-like and slow mo, or any slow mo you have to shoot higher fps than 30 to have clearer movement. more frames, more information computer has to work with.
