I am shocked that they have a ranking system. The red level dogs should be destroyed nobody wants a problem dog that may be dangerous! And if they do they need their head examined (nutty animal activists who think pitbulls and other aggresive dogs just need love and understanding) the humane society has a responsibility to keep the public safe. I think destroying these dogs is doing the animal a kindness. No its not the animals fault their human owners screwed them up. Yet some cant be saved.

I know first hand that they are not familier with all the rules of the ban. I was there, and was talked down to as if I was the one that was wrong. When I finally put the worker in her place about the ban, she walked away and I was not able to find any other worker to help me. It's sad that these animals are stuck in this facility and not in another place where there actually taken care of and that are willing to adopt them out.

I want to adopt a dog from the humane society =) I love the THS, hopefully one day i can adopt an animal or 3!! ;P

It's funny how there were no "pit bulls" shown in that video, yet the THS is over run with them because the staff is inexperienced and don't know the actual laws about the ban. It's sad really. So many animals have to suffer when there are people willing to take them and love them.

I think they do know about the laws that ban them. They never wanted the law to be in place.

Actully, because there are so many pitbulls, they are actually experienced. Most pitbulls I saw were well-trained, and nothing like people say about them (except for them being strong). They have laws with pitbulls where they have age restrictions. Like one pit may have a "child over ages 6", and so on. I adopted a pit yesterdday!
