Instead of the 3DS or the DSi, I actually prefer the DS Lite! So I can play gameboy games + Guitar Hero

iphone 4 beats the 3ds. Like 5x the processing power, around 8x the ram, a lot more memory so you can store your games on the phone, better resolution screen, instead of etc im just gonna say better everything. You can play games including but not limited to: nazi zombies, assasins creed, dead space (was awesome), need for speed, sims3, madden nfl 11, rock band, battlefiend: bad company, mortal kombat, skate, mirrors edge, and the almighty tetris.

I have both systems. I think the dsi has a little of a slite edge. The 3ds is more of a stay home device . This is because it is hard to play in 3d while walking. Plus the dsi is easier to grip on. But the ui and software on the 3ds is awesome. But if your just looking to play I say just get a dsi.

Screen size is bigger than the DSi's, and the resolution is much much higher. Also, 3DS has a superior Dpad. Try playing Mega Man ZX, or Battle Network 5/ Star force on a DSi, and tell me how hard it is use hit diagonals.

It's just ridiculous, because the 3DS IS essentially a DSi....it can do ann the things a DSi can do, difference is, if you get a DSi, you'll be missing out on all the new games coming out (Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Super Mario 3DS, Professor Layton, etc.)

@ssjdbz87 The DSi (and other models) will be discontinued soon. The 3DS isn't some new reiteration of the DS, it's the successor to the whole DS series. As in, yes, even the old DS Phat, this will be the successor to that old 2004 model. If you're buying a DSi, I can't stop you, but just know that no more games will be coming out for it. So...you're gonna be missing out on A LOT of games because now they're making games only dedicated to the 3DS, and you won't be able to play them.
