Yeah I should have described the whole scenario. I was on my laptop which is connected wirelessly. The Pogoplug is wired to the router, but from a port in my kitchen. The router is in my bedroom upstairs. Router is a D-Link Extreme N Router DI-655.
the drive connects to the pogoplug via usb. the pogoplug connects to an open port on your router. you can access the drive online or install a program that allows you to see it as a desktop drive.

so are you on a wireless network, or is it wired. cuz it seems kinda slow. and if ur on wireless is it wireless "g" or "n"
