this kid has talent, that's for sure, but seriously he wasn't a John Popper. when he's playing those very fast runs, that's actually not that hard. in fact he does the same licks over and over again. I don't blame him, because he was only 12 back then, and he probably will become one of the greatest one day, and off course this is talent competion so you have to show everything you've got to impress, but I blame the ignorant judges who called him the best player already.

@surrealIdeal he actually worked with John Popper and he said that this kid was one of the best harp players he had ever heard. This isn't for arguments sake, but his licks aren't as easy as you say. Although John Popper remains to be the man, he wasn't shedding like that when he was 12.

@rv9810 you don't even answer to what i'm saying: he probably will become one of the greatest one day, and yes he was better at the the age of 12 then popper was at the age of 12... but Popper invented that fast style, and there are still better players than Popper (not faster, but better). and no it isn't easy, but it isn't impossible. do you play harmonica?

hey! i am a harp player and @whitetruck76) i am 14 and can personally tell u that the harmonica is not limited in any way at all, u know y it is limited?????? because there are always dumbasses who try to b a musician and go buy a harmonica and ruin the good players reputation. i would like u to go to any music store and buy a harmonica, and if u can play like LD and bend notes and make notes like him, if u can do anything good in two years i would be amazed! if u can post it on my channel.

One can only take so much harmonica, thats why Blues Traveler faded out and you don't hear much from them. The harmonica is a limited instrument and he is an average player at best.

That judge is a complete and total ASSHOLE!! Yeah, the Cole can't hold a candle to L D, but, hey, making L D cry on national tv and telling him to "sack the older brother"?! Come on! He's only been playing with him, what, his ENTIRE life and probably only got interested in the Blues in the first place from his influence. Besides, Cole has a great blues voice and isn't a bad guitarist and you can't have a band with just a harmonica player, anyway. Long Live the Millers Blues Band!!

I would get indescribably bored just listening to just a harmonica player. I love the harmonica, but not as the main focal point for my intertainment; you need something to balance it out...who better then his family? I think his bro does a great job singing.
