They over use the safety car these days, It's always out 2 or 3 laps longer than it needs to be, it's very annoying.

every race-track has it's own "fire-car" (for example the "hockenheimring" in germany uses a Nissan FZ 350 X with a special fireextinguishing-system) and also a car which is mainly equiped like an ambulance. the f1 just has this safety car and another medical-car afaik

loliwarnke & malbert 34, F1 has much more than the Safety Car & Medical Car. Based all around the circuit are Rescue Cars, Extrication Cars, Salvage Cars, ambulances and two helicopters.

Of course they have, but these vehicles (except the heli, i am not sure about it) are NOT part of the formular one. Recue Cars etc. pp belong to the course and it's holders, since they are also used for other races (moto gp...)
