  • Had an accident a few years back doing the same job. (notice you received a broken nose Ronnie! ouch)

    Clipping fat beef cattle, steer kicked the clippers into my knee and tore the whole side open! Needed a few stitches after that incident. I soon learned to do as you, hold into the side to feel the leg muscles if the cow is ready to kick!

  • when i first moved to wi. i was amazed at how long the cows hair got during the winter when left outside[such as dry cows]. i had a cow to get pneumonia one time after she freshned because i didn't know she had to be clipped to let her body heat escape. i moved from tn. and never herd of such a thing.
