I still think the F-4 was the most impressive aircraft the Blues used for sheer presence. The 2 solos did something called the opposing dirty roll on takeoff, where the 2 solos took off against each other & did an aileron roll with gear down aginst each other on the same runway!

The F-4 Phantom? It was a great fighter jet, but planes now are much more maneuverable.

Yeah kulpafish06 that is not a great site for an airshow. I'm sure it was a great show but compared to most places that is a very obstructed show line. Too many trees...

Almost the entire showline is visible, but not the entire showline. That's why, in my opinion this is not a great airshow site. I never said that it was a horrible site, just not great.

it depends on the weather, and if it is at an airport or not. The Blues have a High, Low, and Flat show based on weather, and a remote show, when the delta flies over for an opening pass while the solos break off. the same applies to the Thunderbirds also.

i no i wont be able to ask a BA the show this year around hear is at Alliance airport(were the Thunderbirds performed last year) not at NAS Ft Worth so it will be mobbed (about 150,000 expected each day)
