Female chefs are incredibly hot! "the need to rub" these female chef's are a whole other breed. Don't cheat on them, knife skills are a must in a fine dining kitchen.
why would you let it marinade for three days and then not reseason them before grilling, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of three days in the fridge?
@AdIgnorantiam I guess. Just I think that by reseasoning them, you can add more flavor, and can reduce the marinating time. Three days is awhole lot. I guess she knows what she is doing though or she wouldn't be on tv.
considering she was Mario Batali's HEAD SOUX Chef, and has her own Restaurant in Manhattan, makes her pretty qualified. Not a big fan of the growl, but her skills are beyond reproach.
SORRY, she just doesnt seem to amuse her audience.. LOL i have to agree with elbob. Shes so boring. & what skills? Just b/c she has her own restraunt doesnt mean anything.. does she work there herself? How does that make her qualified.. If i owned my own mcdonalds would that make me qualified? LOL
I have figured it out, when i watched this boring, lame, dull woman on my tv.. Everyone doesnt have to agree with you just b/c you have some scary love obsession for this woman who looks like she just put her finger in a light socket!!
you can say whatever you want about her, but me and my wifer were fortunate enough to eat at her place. Didn't know it was her place until later, and the proof is in the food. I had a food organzim!!
Obviously, she's a great cook but she doesn't have the proper persona to be on tv. She's weird looking and has weird mannerisms. I can imagine that she only appeals to bull dykes. The Tim "the Toolman" Taylor grunting, snarling, and growling is just fucking weird.
Putting a dry rub on a ribeye and then "letting them hang out for 3 days" is real practical.
@elbob17 Why isn't it practical? Letting the meat absorb the rub is the whole point! The longer it sits, the more it absorbs therefore the meat tastes better and is more tender.
@butlertube I'm not saying I don't do it and you don't do it but the average person doesn't plan their meals days in advance or prep a steak on Wednesday to eat on Saturday. Unpractical. And this chick is annoying with all of her grunting.
BUT if u were planning a date or an occasion where a special dinner is called for, you'd be able to do it. What I want to know is how she manages to do that three days thing in a restaurant...I hate when they run out of the special, and I feel that her restaurant runs out of it a lot...
She forgot the fine chooped parsley and finely grated parmesan

She's got an airbrushed tan man! And the hair is not working for me either. She looks like some spoiled old retiree from Boca.

It's not like the marinade goes anywhere from the fridge to the grill. It's plenty seasoned when she puts them on.
