Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Game Review

This game's gor pretty interesting features, but it's too easy, repetitive and short. All the minigames are incredibly fun (except quidditch, wich is just ok), but after you've beaten the game (about four hours) they all lost their appeal (dueling at first is just kinda easy, but after you learn levicorpus it gets riddiculous). If you're a fan, rent it.

I have to admit Bonnie Wright's character Ginny gets a lot more flashed out in this than she does in the movies. Don't get me wrong she's a good actress but they made her so bland that you can't really care for her much.

The Quidditch in this game is terrible, if you want a good quidditch experience play harry potter and the chamber of secrets for the XBOX, thats the best you will get of quidditch

I was listening right up until the last minute or so, when I started paying attention to the spoiler cutscenes. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't read the books, and hasn't seen the last 2 (or would you count it as 3?) movies. XD

I did love the game whilst playing it, but you're right, it's far too short and the cutscenes really annoyed me. There's really not much replay value either, since, as you said, you can't change the difficulty. Good review :)

This game suckes ass i bought like a dummie and beat it in the first 6 hours i got it the movie pretty good but the game sucks its like a bootleg version of the order of the phoenix game

this game is pretty awesome no matter what reviewers say but be warned RENT it because although its good its easy to beat so only rent it

The reason the game got the score it did is that while it does certain things well (Quidditch feels fast and accurate, potion mixing is fun and intuitive) it does all of these things way too much. That and the game is very, very short and lacks any real challenge, with no option to change difficulty settings. =\
