I can't understand how people find extreme thinness to be attractive - in either males or females. I ain't fat, but I ain't skinny either. (In fact, I'm much smaller than the "average" size American woman - but I'm much larger than these women.) I think it sets a bad example for the youth - I've had my own struggles with weight - and it's hard enough when you struggle with your own body image. When you see these celebrities, it becomes overwhelming.

People are failing to realize that a size 0-2 is not natural and usually requires some sort of obsessive working out or eating disorder. This is not normal and most of these stars have bobble heads which means that they don't naturally have these bodies. Just like steroid use in atheletes, eating disorders are probably ramipid in female stars. The pressure to be thin is so strong that they resort to extreme means to maintain a size 2. Seeing rib cages isn't healthy.
