I got 39/smooth - Nimrod. I am good with that Green Day and go back it all the time. Just like my Nirvana albums. Music today is shit honestly. Green Day is now shit as well, but that is just my opinion.

@merickalston whats wrong with it was that they were punk. the entire genre is set against mainstream music and bashes people for playing with the motivation of making money. they themselves decided to go mainstream and because of this they deserve the title of "sellouts". i myself dont have a problem with their new music but its not punk rock. it bothers me when people call it that. Kerplunk and dookie were punk. 21st century breakdown isn't. Its still good music but its not punk

@KeyXLimeXPieXPunko to a certain extent both. compare songs from this performance at woodstock to ones from this year. this video shows the rawness and energy that they used to have. although they still put on a good show its not the same. i guess its because they grew up and became more mature or whatever. im not exactly sure how to explain it but it just makes sense. this has the attitude that other punk bands like bad brains or the foreskins had. their newer stuff lacks it.
