Iceland is like a smaller town and there is a very special atmosphere there, if you've ever been there. All of what she is saying is true: they have no railway system, you always go with two SUVs to explore to wilderness, etc. That's not stupid, that makes sense, unlike going with only one car, like I did through the desert of Qatar.

@dragontooth81 that happens to me all the time - I speak perfectly nice English, while in Britain. But try calling me when I've been home for two days )) Or my Japanese English, that is even better! In this case they are both communicating in foreign language, and they are not in English speaking country. I also think it has to do with people who have "musical ear" - they adopt quicker - and go off it same speed. Whereas unmusical people keep their accent same in all circumstances.
