I just discovered 3 canal. Seem like a pretty cool group. I like the music & things but I cant understand what Blue is about. Are they saying make the world peaceful? I know Mud was pretty deep. Which member is Mr. Issac?
i rememba wen meh was a lil chile me an meh bro use to get on rel wild wen we hear it on the tv dey use to play it evry mornin use to tune in evry day to see it
nutten wrong wid dat breds. d righteous ppl gettin orn like BECUZ dem iz bullaz u MUST like d music or else u ignorantly prejudice. well isnt dat discountin d music just as much?
music is an expression. in a culture all expressions come together. music, fashion, dance, attitude. wud MJ have been as big if he cudnt dance, i doh kno.
what i know is, i like 3Canal music AND i went to school wid dem.
wendell is mih breds.
so doh i straight, dey music come together for me.
I remember when I heard this song/saw the video for the first time. I believe I was a teenager at the time and was absolutely blown away....The song seemed to unlock something deep and true within my soul as a young artist, as a Trini, as a lover of Carnival. It is so in sync with my identity as a Caribbean person...
The video captures the song's essence so well...It so intuitively taps into the mas, roots, the pulse and the glorious theatricality of Trinis! So captivating!!!!
I know it was only a trilogy of great videos involving traditional carnival presentations, but I like to include Salt with the other three seeing how heavily it drew on folklore and continued the political theme begun by "Talk yuh Talk"
wow not One dislike, says alot of there music. And for some reason when I saw this video I started remembering TTT lol
