I have tried using the up+strong moves and I just get hit by his birds :( I have been trying to beat Deidara for almost 6 months now. Usually I can beat a game in like four hours to two days and this is annoying me. If everything everyone says about this being the last fight in story mode, I am going to be pissed. Defeat on my first try. Very easy, use the a button, teleport with down+a to get away from spider and birds and when Deidara off guard attack him. I'm just concerned why this is the last chapter of the story. Where is the mission mode?

Oh and about the fight. down heavy spamming is the best stragety. Keep doing that along with 1 or 2 jump specials. You'll do the most damage that way. You won't succeed in 4 or 5 tries but you'll get your chance eventually, don't give up ;)

I think you can dash through the spiders, but the birds are annoying :[. I used Front A, A, A most of the time, and down A. If you dash at him and press A you can get behind him. As I dashed I luckily managed to get Naruto's special in because he dashed right in as well.
