By the way, Kharitonov was an idiot for not reversing that mount. He had deep double overhooks when in the clinch which he kept when he was taken down. All he had to do was trap one of Barnett's legs, buck and roll and if he did it quick enough he should have gotten the sweep. Instead, he just lay there like he didn't have a clue most of the time. Dunno how you get to that high a level and not even know these sorts of basics.

The way you sweep from the bottom is to get a deep overhook, trap the foot on the same side, bridge and roll to the side of the overhooked arm. Kharitov never established that overhook. There's another escape that involves bucking but it's not a sweep and he didn't do that right either.

Josh gets a lot of shit for his steroids past, but you have to admit that he always puts on a good fight and does some pretty technical and/or entertaining grappling -- a lot more technical and/or entertaining than many BJJ guys and "regular" wrestlers.
