It creates confusion over what the truth really is and encourages people to choose what they want to believe rather than face a fact. And the point is, people shouldn't have to do their own research. That's what the press is for. If they're doing their job properly, there should be no question what the facts are, e.g. "Obama is a US citizen" not "Is Obama a US citizen?"

It creates confusion over what the truth really is and encourages people to choose what they want to believe rather than face a fact. And the point is, people shouldn't have to do their own research. That's what the press is for. If they're doing their job properly, there should be no question what the facts are, e.g. "Obama is a US citizen" not "Is Obama a US citizen?"

The White House won't say what the cost actually is, not surprising coming from the most "transparent" administration in history - you know, the ones who said "We're gonna post it on C-SPAN!" and talking trash about how the public will be able to view bills online, but then they close up shop and hope everybody goes away. They get paid whether they're in India or the U.S. What does that leave? Fuel, hotels, food..? Even at a generous $1000 per person per day, that's not even $2million/day for hotels and food. Air Force One costs ~ $100K/hr (26 hr round trip = $2.6mil). Other military craft = ??
Actual cost of any trip can't possibly be near this ludicrous.
