Hi, ive been looking at this gun and really like it. I was planning on buying it soon but wanted to know a few questions. I play woodland and I was wondering if this gun stock is ready for medium-long range. If not what could I do to make it feild ready.

@RaidersAirsoftTeam If you live in the states, some of the defenders and other g&p guns are a bit underpowerd for your taste, some of them come with japanese legal power, which is around 280-300. Others come with 360-380, check the webshops description for these. Anyway, if you are in the states have a look at the new KWA 2GX versions for example the SR-10. G&P internals are not bad bad KWA is better.

@SanPasqualHigh It means that when he lets go of the trigger, the MOSFET stops the gears exactly in the spot they were in when he let go of the trigger. In a gun without Active Braking, the gear's momentum will continue to pull the piston back for a short period.

it means the piston will always end up at the forward position (no depressed spring) on auto or on semi so you no longer have to fire the gun on semi after you're done shooting.

a mosfet is basically something that helps increase both rof and the trigger response. Active breaking specifically helps with trigger response.

basically speaking they are essential for any high speed setup. If you are looking for a cheap way to increase your speed, install deans connectors (to reduce the resistance in the wiring which increases rof) and a mosfet with active breaking to help with trigger response and also rof (it doesn't impact rof as much as deans) which should be about $50

@pilerheritage ugh everyone gets the KWA SRs instead of the KM4 Tactical. King Arms is also good. In my opinion they are lipo ready and are compatible with systema gearboxes (essentail cause i use systema guns).

I saw this on Redwolf airsoft and noticed that it's cheaper then the G&P I'm looking to buy (G&P M4 RAS).

Any problems with the weapon?

Only problem I had with mine was poor shimming. You cant beat this AEG for the price. Even at $396 after shipping, you get a great looking AEG, with nice internals encased in an 8mm bearing GB, as well as the Aimpoint w/ replica Wilcox mount.
