  • @dragonfang831 Really? Haha, I was wondering why so many people were viewing this...that's awesome, I love Pokémon! =D

  • @Somarinoa i bet your happy because some random guy, who just happens to do something thats popular, made your vid popular, lol

  • @dragonfang831 You're darn right I am, haha...although even still, it's not my most viewed or anything...which sort of surprises me.

  • @Somarinoa then witch one has the most views? i havn't really checked out any of your other ones....

  • @dragonfang831 I'm pretty sure that the one of my grandmother "M" the night she died has the most views. It certainly has the most comments.

  • @Somarinoa i lost both my grandparents on my moms side. i realy didn't fell anything when my mom's dad died, the only time i was around him was when i was young, & i don't rember much from before i was ten. oh, & my grandma on my dads side is above 80 years old(she dosn't look a day over 60) & is curently a great-great-grandmother to my cousins grandson, aka my 3ed cousin. so far shes the only living great-great-grandparent(to anyone) i know.

  • This actually blew my mind

  • you know, it always annoyed me that Lileep and Cradily were grass type even though sea lilies aren't plants.

  • omg yaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • Or am I thinking about this too much.

  • Bulbapedia sent me here. >_>

  • there will be a spike in views thanks to george hutcherson :)

  • Bulbapedia, (or rather Bulbanews), a Pokemon website, had an article on the origin of the fossil Pokemon Cradily and Lileep, with a link to this video in reference to the fact that crinoids are actually able to move when they have to....

  • yeah i also came here seeing bulbapedia, but anyway this is amazing stuff =)

  • :3 Cradily is so cute

  • @qwertyuiop2000 IMO Lileep is cuter, but I like Cradily more :D

  • I blame bulbapedia

  • I too was linked here through a certain Bulbapedia article. Incidentally, Lileep and Cradily are some of my personal favorite Pokemon. This is all very interesting stuff, I am glad i took the time to read up on a bit of Crinoid history, i learned a lot.

  • Interesting video. Got here from bulbapedia (Pokemon wiki) Doesn't the sea lily look like the flood from Halo?

  • Your views will boom thanks to Bulbapedia.

  • Freaky. Could you imagine being trapped underwater, and having a large, maimed crinoid slowly crawling toward your face...

  • I got here through Bulbapedia.

  • @canadiantuxedo Ditto.

    aahhh get it? :D

  • @canadiantuxedo hahaha so did i! :D

  • @canadiantuxedo lmao so did i

  • @canadiantuxedo me too!

  • Yay for Lileep and Cradily! Well, they're Pokémon based on those crinoids. :D

  • Go Lily, go!

  • A little creepy but awesome :>

  • That's right. Lileep can walk too!

  • Nice!

  • I didnt know they could crawl

  • Oh jesus christ.

    Someone napalm the ocean!

  • WHAT HAS

  • im 11 years old and i ove this stuff i like to study crinoid coloniums cause there exactally like the discs in ur spine

  • Well I certainly hope you got enjoyment from this video, then. =)

Keep up the curiosity, and one day you could go far.

  • echinoderms are the only group besides vertebrates to possess a real internal skeleton.

and genetically, we are, in fact, closely related 0_0

  • @StarSpawn06 Alright boys, lets go fuck starfish and creat new species.

  • @dragonwizerd wait, what?

  • @gbaby689 I'm just like you. I love everything about animals. when I'm not wasting time on video games, I'm on wikipedia, reading about animals, I'm even eleven as well! Crinoids are my favorite marine speicies. Who knows, years from know, we may be collegues at a marine biology university.

  • @PokeZelda6664 Heh, Im the same way, though Im a bit older.

  • Some photographic evidence suggests that in the wild these crinoids are knocked down not by starfish but by sea urchins. The crinoid bits found in the sea urchins' stomachs only add to the story...

  • I just learned about this video when talking to my geology professor about crinoids, and it was mentioned that they are still alive today, and then he mentioned about the fact that these animals actually can disattach themselves and run away, if in danger. I believe it was a starfish that had threatened this one! Amazing!

  • The submarine uprooted this one while backing up.Listen to the conversation in the video.Starfish played no part in this.

My intro to crinoids video will be up tomorrow.

  • The one that they "leveled" is lying prone on the seafloor appearing dead.

  • Sea creatures never cease to amaze me.
