This is what gsmarena says about the screen. Its one of the best on the market.

I remember back in the days when Ericsson made top-notch business phones and was competing with Nokia's good looking teenage-phones. Then SONY came to the market and made phones, they where pretty cool, nice UI, functions etc, but couldn't compete to Ericsson/Nokia market share. Ericsson wanted SONY's components (camera, microphone, ui) in their phones and innovative developers so Ericsson and SONY made a deal.

@CyberDemonVZ That is exactly what I mean though, Sony incorporated the Exmor R cmos sensor into the 8.1MP camera along with their Bravia Engine into the display found on many high-end televisions. My mistake about the plug, I don't travel much, hehe.
