I grew up there, and haven't been back in 20 years, and I don't recognize a dang thing. It's changed so much.The house I grew up in was torn down, and they built a mansion. What a shame.

hazey, i know what you mean, i live in san jose, but start monta vista in june... i hate it. my parent's grew up here, they were teen's here in the 70's. it's not the same city anymore, i didn't know that town it used to be, but wish it what like that now.

The Calli Bros Plant and the 50's strip center on the corner of Highway 9 (De Anza Blvd.) and Stevens Creek Blvd. were razed back in the late 80's. The Armadillo Willys building is the only remnant; it was the old Security Pacific Bank back in the 70's.
