  • speechless...... just incredible......

  • WHAT A GOLDEN PEICE

  • Dear Gupt63, this tune resembles 'Lehrake aya hai' of his own Waris(1969) closely.

  • @srinivasanchanniga Yes you are right . Its a mix of the above mentioned song from Waaris & the song "Raqqasa mera naam" from The Great Gambler

  • I think this piece was composed very early by R D for an unreleased film of Guru Dutt

  • great artist

  • master musician ,will miss him....

  • Wow. This is very rare, not seen this before!

  • :'"(

Thanks a lot! I become speechless at the zest and enthusiasm that is RD. He is the quitessential artist with Lust For Life! The Van Gogh of Pop Music!

  • It was a pleasant surprise to me. Thanks for the video. RD is Great.

  • this music touches my soul,

  • Thank you anandaananda1 for the appreciation. People like us still live with RDBurman's music.

  • fantastic,,,,,,, thanks srinivasan for uploading the video.

  • Thank you RDBRM720.

  • really superb :)

  • R. D. means the swing, melody, tragedy, and ultimate.......

  • Sure I will upload more from this video of live program by RD.

  • srinivas ji can u upload more of burman da - or give info on the cd - so that we can get to see more of him -

  • What humility! Another sign of greatness. RD's Harmonica has helped me win a Quiz too. I love to play the "Hai apna dil to awara..." song. The question posed was "What did RD do in the song?", and we got all the wierd answers like "he sang it" or even "he was on the train in the song". I knew that the mouthorgan bit of the song was rendered by RD even though the song was directed by SD Burman. I was just a few points short and this one helped me sail through.

  • True RD was a maestro of this instrument Harmonica. He also played a masterly piece in 'Dosti' song: 'Kaahe manwa dukh ki chinta'(before 2nd stanza) under Laxmikant Pyarelal's baton, when RD was not a fulltime MD.

Thank you for posting srinivasan ji.

  • Laxmikant and Pyarelal acted as assistants to R.D. in his debut film Chote Nawab (1961) which is on record in the titles of this movie. Similarly, R.D. played harmonica in Dosti which is also acknowledged in the titles of Dosti.

  • Great! thank you for the information srinivasan ji.

  • Awesome!!! Now thats RD Burman da.....

  • Thank you Ipfcdd.I have the Cd of his full live program.
