Just a side note: if you are using "strike-anywhere" matches, grinding the heads against each other in a mortar will very easily cause them to ignite. and a pile of match heads going off in a small bowl with your hand closely covering it is none too fun.

u cud do tht or jus fold sum masking tape up like in half to the length u want it or crush the match heads and then put it on one half of the maskin tape then fold as before. (use masking tape as it has flammable proprties like paper). and gd vid m8 i liked the bit bout the choc lolly lol

what u do is take all the red off a bunch of match(about 20) then you crash them. after and water till its a paste then u cover the string in it and let it dry. it works quet well iv done it before and ill amke a video of the prosees
