I have had some bad experiences with macs. I do like keynote and that is about it. Apple crashes like CRAZY!!!! I can't recall how many swear words I did while using macs. However, because keynote, I am still going to stick with mac.

I use a 350 dollar Laptop with 4 gigs of Ram an AMD Sempron 2 processor an ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics chip with 336 MB of dedicated ram But uses shared system ram up to 1.2 gigs for a video ram total 1,5 gigs of video ram. I can play all modern FPS games on this with good framerate, I do video editing and graphics design. Oh yeah, and I run Snow Leopard and switch at will in a VM just like you run Windows. Win 7 64 bit - Never crashes. I think you are Lying about your experience. Eat Me Mac!

You can run mac OSX on windows in a virtual machine..and windows is cheaper. i built my own pc for £700 ($1100) and it is amazing. 8GB RAM, NVidia 550ti with 1024Mb DDR5 RAM, AMD Bulldozer FX 6-core, all for cheaper than a mac.

Can't dual boot on a PC? How stupid can you get? Yes, Windows can dual boot. There are multiple ways of setting it up and you can even do it through the BIOS without even needing an OS with the feature. Mac can virtualize Windows, but this is emulation and inefficient. Windows can do this, too (VMware). Macs of X specs can cost double what a Windows machine with X specs costs, but you have to have heard of benchmarking and computer components to know that. Macs are for morons with money to blow.

I run a PC i7 2600k, 16 gb of ram, raid 0 SSDs (1100 mbps write speed!), dual 6970 GPUs running windows 7 and a hackintosh OSX dual boot for less than 1500 dollars. Outperforming almost all MAC flavors on almost all tasks (even at running OSX) at 1/2 the price.

I bought an $800 HP Quad-core PC with Windows 7 preinstalled on it (this was when W7 was first released). Not had a single issue with it, can do everything I want without a hiccup. Same as you can do with your Mac Pro. The only difference? I saved myself a boatload of money, lol.

Yes its BSD but you can't just whip up your own copy. Yeah macs are NOT for gaming totally with you on that. I find though that Linux doesn't not run much faster than OS X, they're about the same. I dig them all but OS X lets me get my work done more efficiently than my ADD would like me too so Im a big fan.

has 1 use my mac is used as a minecraft server and it failed i looked at it and it was using all 2gb of ram (with only 1 person) so i put in 1x8gb ram (90$) in there i only used one so if i had to upgrade agen i would use another 8gb ... so that worked for a bit then people where complaining agen so i looked at it had a few people join in and my cpu was running at 100% on all threads so it still failed

The cheapest macbook is over twice the price of my almost 4 year old laptop, and it's specs are slightly worse than it. It has a much worse video card, 1GB less RAM, and a slower processor that has a smaller cache.
Macs are overpriced, you most certainly DO NOT get what you pay for.

The clean "software made to run on the hardware and vice versa" ecosystem allows you to run those lower spec hardware systems much more efficiently thus eliminating the need for faster hardware.

Can't dual boot on a PC? How stupid can you get? Yes, Windows can dual boot. There are multiple ways of setting it up and you can even do it through the BIOS without even needing an OS with the feature. Mac can virtualize Windows, but this is emulation and inefficient. Windows can do this, too (VMware). Macs of X specs can cost double what a Windows machine with X specs costs, but you have to have heard of benchmarking and computer components to know that. Macs are for morons with money to blow.

Now-a-days your MAC runs PC processors and videocards which you pay premium for, whilst PC get theirs for 1/2 the price.
I run a PC i7 2600k, 16 gb of ram, raid 0 SSDs (1100 mbps write speed!), dual 6970 GPUs running windows 7 and a hackintosh OSX dual boot for less than 1500 dollars. Outperforming almost all MAC flavors on almost all tasks (even at running OSX) at 1/2 the price.
All mac advantages beforeno longer exist.

Macs suck! Firstly, you probably run on the same beliefs as other mac users - "My mac doesn't work, time to buy a new one." That's far more expensive than just upgrading a Windows pc, AND we get more power from our systems than a Mac does. About the crashing, it's your hardware issues. Guess what? Macs and Windows PCs use the same hardware, so don't think that you're so much better. Things like hard drives are highly unstable on any system.

I bought an $800 HP Quad-core PC with Windows 7 preinstalled on it (this was when W7 was first released). Not had a single issue with it, can do everything I want without a hiccup. Same as you can do with your Mac Pro. The only difference? I saved myself a boatload of money, lol.

@Ominorvas touché but no good sir, I do in fact dual boot Win 7 and Ubuntu on my PC. I can definitely use a computer :). OS X is Darwin which is its own kernel. Yes its BSD but you can't just whip up your own copy. Yeah macs are NOT for gaming totally with you on that. I find though that Linux doesn't not run much faster than OS X, they're about the same. I dig them all but OS X lets me get my work done more efficiently than my ADD would like me too so Im a big fan.

has 1 use my mac is used as a minecraft server and it failed i looked at it and it was using all 2gb of ram (with only 1 person) so i put in 1x8gb ram (90$) in there i only used one so if i had to upgrade agen i would use another 8gb ... so that worked for a bit then people where complaining agen so i looked at it had a few people join in and my cpu was running at 100% on all threads so it still failed

Ofc I can run multiple operating systems at once on my PC, are you retarded? What's more, I just checked the apple site, and I've got so say.. I was shocked. The cheapest macbook is over twice the price of my almost 4 year old laptop, and it's specs are slightly worse than it. It has a much worse video card, 1GB less RAM, and a slower processor that has a smaller cache.
Macs are overpriced, you most certainly DO NOT get what you pay for.

The clean "software made to run on the hardware and vice versa" ecosystem allows you to run those lower spec hardware systems much more efficiently thus eliminating the need for faster hardware.
