And last time I recall, it's very hard to win in OT when your team is short-handed like the Leafs were on that play.

i heard a lot about this goal so i had to watch it and really theres not much to talk about here. i don't think people realize how fast things are on the ice compared to watching them unfold on a widescreen tv. Point shot comes in blazing and the rebound goes across the crease instantly on to mccabes stick in between two sabres who are crashing the net. Chances are they would have poked it in anyways. Not saying he didn't screw up but that is a tough situation to get out of cleanly.

Most people who have commented on this video have NEVER.. EVER played a game of competitive hockey in their lives. Nor, did they even watch the game, or know what REALLY happened prior to that play. Leafs had the lead 3 times in the third, but Sundin's line was a combined minus -12 (Leaf record) in the third period. The game should have never got to OT. And last time I recall, it's very hard to win in OT when your team is short-handed like the Leafs were on that play.

i heard a lot about this goal so i had to watch it and really theres not much to talk about here. i don't think people realize how fast things are on the ice compared to watching them unfold on a widescreen tv. Point shot comes in blazing and the rebound goes across the crease instantly on to mccabes stick in between two sabres who are crashing the net. Chances are they would have poked it in anyways. Not saying he didn't screw up but that is a tough situation to get out of cleanly.

Ok then hot shots.. then send me a snap shot of the puck clearly crossing the line... with white in between the goal line... you can't and the puck was rolling which makes it very tough to tell.
