  • The Coconut oil needs to be spit in the trash! Never spit it in your sink or toilet.

  • I heard you can do the oil puling with sunflower oil. is that not true ?

  • @MrKirbbdogg You can do it with virtually any oil, but there are obvious ones you should avoid like soybean oil and corn oil. I'd honestly just stick to only virgin coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil.

  • @LuniaVideo

sweet what oil will help regrow your gumline the most ?

  • Hi. Could you tell me why this needs to be done on an empty stomach? EarthClinic advises to brush your teeth prior to pulling as well as after bc if you don't it will be working to get the plaque buildup, bacteria ect that brushing can get. Do you brush prior? Also most ppl advise to use a full tablespoon while you are saying less than 1 teaspoon, could you explain why? Thanks!

  • @Jerod678

I smoked for quite a few years now. After I quit

I wanted to whiten my teeth. My dentist quoted

a hundred dollars. Good thing my friend shared

me this wonderful program at the site:

    TeethWhiteningProgram.info

it worked great and I appreciate not having to

    spend a fortune! :)

  • Where can get coconut oil? ?????

  • @ebonygraceful go to a health food store, they will have it :)

  • i just oil pulled this morning and i noticed after oil pulling for 20 minutes and spitting out the oil that my mouth felt fresh, which was a surprise. after i rinsed with salt water and brushed my teeth, my gums feel invigorated rather than inflamed and my mouth actually feels clean! i can't wait to see what'll happen in a few weeks to my gums and teeth :) thanks, natasha!! i can't believe that even though i'm indian, i've never heard of this before hahaha

  • thank you so much for this tip! i haven't tried it yet (i will tomorrow), but i know just how helpful coconut oil is. i didn't realize you could put it in your mouth, though! hopefully this will help with my receding gum issue ^^

  • Your age is listed as 35. Surely, that can't be right. You look like you are in your twenties.

  • why empty stomach first thing in the morning?

  • I use sunflower oil, organic, cold pressed, extra virgin. It turns to a milky white when it's done, and then I spit, and rinse out my mouth a million times so I dont get poisoned LOL.

  • does anyone in the UK know where to get coconut oil from i have been in 3 supermarkets and they dont have it would extra virgin olive oil be okay

  • @nick8042 Look in the foreign food section in any major supermarket which is where I got mine from first time (though not organic). I now have Biona's Raw Virgin Organic which you can get from Goodness Direct dot co dot uk.

  • @nick8042 Extra virgin olive oil is fine.

  • hey Natasha, i have a question for you. i have a crown that has a dark line around the gum line from receding gums. do you think oil pulling will help regenerate the gum so it is no longer visible and if yes, how long should i do it to see results? i would appreciate any other remedies you suggest for receding gums/ gum regeneration, any vitamins I need to take? thanks and keep up with the videos.

  • your so pretty your identical to lady gaga! look up pictures of lady gaga when she had brown hair search stefani germanotta brown hair at school

  • Oh you have to use the organic oil! And you have to use the Celtic sea salt, not the table salt! You know what? You're an idiot.

  • @JonathanJonnyJones

Can you not say that in a mature way? I mean, was calling her an idiot really necessary?

  • @ToxicImagination Eat a dick.

  • @JonathanJonnyJones

Oh, I see, you ARE very immature.

  • @JonathanJonnyJones wow I am amazed at how angry and shallow you are. You also don't seem very smart. When you say "You know what? You're an idiot." You are projecting what you feel about yourself. I saw your youtube homepage. Your collection of videos and comments reveal that you are a complete idiot, horrific, angry self-hating person that must point the finger at everyone else to make yourself feel better. Sad. I'm sure you will have a childish comeback for me. Whatever

  • @a7singularity9empire Ok, faggot. What's next?

  • Natasha, love your channel but obviously you don't have kids. 20 mins!!!! I will do all my housework in that time:):) Blessings!

  • no people, you need to use cold pressed sesame oil!! Follow Directions

  • @soyTicana What about expeller pressed?

  • 1.Do I have to use spring water in the saltwater blend?

2.Should I brush my teeth as soon as I used the saltwater blend and should I use toothpaste or not?

  • @Hermelinenable you want to brush your teeth AFTER you do your O.Ping and rinsing. After that you want to drink a big glass of water, the water will lubricate your insides and make everything a bit fresher after the O.Ping. Also using a toothpaste without chemicals ( especially Sodium laurel sulfate) is best, or a tooth soap. Dr.Bronners peppermint is what I recommend.

    I hope this helps :)

  • @Cselestyna Question, since you mentioned Dr. Bronner's Soap (Which is amazing), I wonder if you can help with this. I tried using it as a toothpaste for a bit but for some reason my gums started looking more tender and more sensitive. At times, maybe this is just my perception, it seemed as though my gums were getting worse. Is this normal? Did you experience anything like that yourself?

  • @healthfreak18 Hmm, I can't say that I've had a lot of sensitivity. I do at times, like recently it's been sensitive and my gums have been hurting after brushing, like they're getting worse, but i have a feeling it's they way I've been brushing. I also switched to the soft bristle brushes and it does help a lot. Are you using anything else with the soap? like salt, baking soda or hydrogen peroxide? even O.Ping can have that kind of effect if it's drawing out toxins.

  • @Cselestyna No I'm just using the soap. But I am Oil pulling and just yesterday I started doing it 2x/day to get extra benefits. Also I'm using a soft brush. Is that different from soft bristle?

  • not sure if the works- but bicarbonate of soda definitely does and is really good for your mouth in general...just don't do it every day!

  • I used coconut oil pulling for 3 months and no result!!

  • but how is this working for u as u have false teeth lol

  • I have a mouth full of extra virgin olive oil right now :D

  • I shall start today! I'm using olive oil! wish me luck!!!

  • don't use fluoride toothpaste- poison

  • When I rinse with warm salt water and brush afterwards is it ok if I brush using the Dr Tungs brush who uses your own saliva no toothpaste?

  • The reason for the celtic/hymalaya salt is because of the 84 minerals that you get. This is extremely healthy for your mouth and teeth. The coconut oil has all the right enzymes in it to build a healthy environment for your digestion.

  • 15 -20 minutes of swishing olive oil can cause gag reflux try a lighter oils . Flushing in the toilet NOT GOOD..toilet. gonna do theOil Pulling, I'm in favor of bright healthy gums Dentists what do they know- We have to become our own physicans & dentistsLOL Good luck everyone please check back let us know how you did. i will post my own results soon.... cioa 4 now.. peace & good heatlh everyone...

  • What do you use to brush your teeth??

  • @ a simple ordinary tooth brush... LOL

  • @millefeori I meant like toothpaste. Like does she make her own, or anything like that. Lol.

  • In ayurveda the recommended oils are SUNFLOWER or SESAME, not coconut. Of course coconut may still work but I just wanted to get it out there that it's not of the tradition...

  • Hello, i tried oil pulling with virgin coconut oil for 15 minutes and i got an aphta the same day. I tried it anyway for two days after it but the aphta is still there so i'm thinking perhaps it's better not to go further with this for a bit. Suggestions?

  • can anyone tell me if this worked? please..

  • That is supper good one!

    Thank you Natasha!

    Blessing and love

  • So do you do this before you even just 'flush' your mouth with water? Because in the morning we all have a bad breath. So are you just supposed to take the oil in the stinky mouth? :O

  • Thank you for all your wonderful information :)

  • how do you do this for 20 min without gagging?

  • I am trying to cut my You Tube time down; you are totally not helping. Your video is super awesome.

  • @Lavanyakama i think that the reason is that cocosoil is antiseptic (bout sesame oil i don't know)

  • This actually helps with gum problems . Also coconut oil is great for thrush in children and adults. gets rid of it naturally within 3 days with no side affects.

    Great vids.

  • how does this whiten the teeth?

  • Why do you have to do it in the morning? I almost thought about using it after eating stuff that gets stuff in my teeth.

  • i love this!

  • I tried this my first time this morning and I already notice a HUGE difference! I have been taking Phentermine for almost a year and have lost about 40lbs. It's the only way I can stop craving sugary foods, but I've noticed I've had to take 2 at a time now to really stop craving them. After I tried doing this in the morning, all my cravings were GONE. Thinking about brownies, etc. makes feel nauseated. I've not taken ANY today at all, thanks to this, and I feel awake w/o coffee...for ONCE.

  • How many people looked at the time when she said she was going to demonstrate? lol

  • did it for a week and my mouth is soooo sore, a day after quiting i feel better. is that normal? is it part of the healing process? I do see a difference but ouchie!!

  • Actually your supposed to spit this out in the garbage because it will clog your toilet or sink because it builds up in the pipes...

  • Is Hemp Oil OK?

  • This is great advice and is a means one can avoid taking the risky version of Listerine in Australia.

  • very imformative thanks for the vid why is it important to oil pull on an empty stomach

  • natasha do u have upper veneers? just asking bc I'm looking into it :)

  • is this safe?

  • does it instanly change the color or over time? if over tie how long?

  • do you hve to brush your teeth straight after oil pulling, or is it bad to brush after having breakfast cause thats when i usually brush?

  • I'd forgotten all about this! Thank you so much!

  • Science proved that oral health is the link to your overall health. The oil will fight off bad bacteria, cure poor oral health and that will help the body to heal because most oils have antiseptic in them. Coconut, sesame seed and sunflower oils probably have more antiseptic properties than other oils. It’s like a natural mouthwash but without all the harsh chemicals that can cause poor health. Also the oil loosens up tater, so it’s easier to brush away.

  • I like your video a a lot. Good information. It is misleading because no swishing in the world will bring your gums back. You did not say that you gums grew back but the way you said implied. 15 years of practicing dental hygiene Snezhana Timoshchuk RDH

  • How does this work exactly?

  • I had heard of oil pulling but didn't know it helped receding gums, which I have on 2 teeth. I will try this! Where do you get the coconut oil? Thanks so much!

  • What great info......and you're a sweetheart too!

    Thanx!

  • you're loveley, and thank you...all my friends are switching on to oil-pulling,personally,i love coconut oil =O)

  • do u have fillings? :)

  • What paste would you suggest to brush my teeth with? I currently use Organic Kiss My Face Aloe Vera Gel that is Fluoride Free. I've heard baking soda could also work?

  • What about tipex?

  • this is working so wonderful for me! I went from having a yellow tint to my teeth to a nice white smile!!

  • you sound smart

  • i just order 100 % organic, unrefined, cold pressed, extra virgin cocnut oil. is this ok to consume? also, is it ok for oil pulling?

  • @snowinghappiness

coconut oil is used for cooking actually..so yes

  • @alexxx1836 thanks

  • If it's good enough for Natasha, it's good enough for me! She's got super white teeth! Thanks for the tip, Natasha!

    xoxo

  • Yup, oil pulling has been a part of my life for years as has skin brushing. I personally feel both are beneficial for stimulating the body's own defenses and with oil pulling we get whiter teeth in the process.

  • Thank you so much for the informative video!!

  • omg 20 minutes of swishing it around?? my mouth would be really tired...haha

  • I officially try eat since tommorow, see you in 2 weeks

  • 15 minutes is a long time though. lol.

  • How often do you do this?

  • can i just use some regular pure coconut oil

  • Does the oil taste good? I dont want to be swishing some bad tasting oil around my mouth everyday. :)

  • so what happens if i swallow this stuff? the coconut oil i mean

  • @EloGrzegorczyk it is eatable

  • @EloGrzegorczyk DO NOT swallow it! It will be full of the toxins that it is taking out of your body.

  • By the way, does the oil choke up the household water system or pipes when you flush it down the toilet?

  • Now I know why I felt so nauseous when I swished the oil in the morning. I actually took extra virgin olive with sunflower seed oil ! It tasted disgusting..

  • Not only teeth and gums are benefited internal vibrant health, this is day2 of oil pulling with Organic Sunflower oil. I do it for 20 minutes remember this is for best results. You can do it for less time. Oil pulling removes toxins from the body, it is best to do on a empty stomach. Remember it is important to brush your teeth and rinse your mouth with salt water. After all one wouldn't want toxins left in your mouth that has been pulled this can be toxic. A little tip from I .

    xx

  • very interesting, going 2 try it, thanks

  • Can you eat right after you brush your teeth or do you have to wait awhile?

  • I LOVE coconut oil, anyway to use it, I am all about that! :D Thanks for this. I've heard of it with sesame oil, but now that I see some use cold pressed coconut oil, I am so going to try it!

  • why can't you use iodine salt?thx

  • is olive oil ok?

  • WOW, i shall try this!

  • Natasha, I've apparently damaged a tooth (non-molar) by chomping on a cherry (my wife missed a pit in the cherry cake she made for me on father's day) . The tooth is sensitive to pressure (meaning I can't chew very well on that side). I just know my dentist is going to want to do a root canal particularly because the tooth has turned darker and is still (after a few months) sensitive to pressure. Do you know if there are any other options?

  • omfg OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK?? OK? OK? So annoying... I can't watch this because of that, UNNNH KAYYY?

  • you have great teeth and a beautiful smile :) i love your vids..

  • Just tried this for the first time. Yikes! Had the cold pressed organic virgin coconut oil. Lasted all of 3 minutes. Awful. Gagged. Hopefully it will be better next time around.

  • You should actually spit this into the trash or compost, especially coconut oil because it will solidify in your pipes and block up your system!!

  • @carosaurus Brilliant, I do oil pulling in the morning while watering my plants , I could spit in the compost . Good idea . Don't know why I waited until going back inside and use toilet . Thanks .

  • I love ayurvedic methods bucktooth.

  • I've tried it, hopefully I'll see difference soon! The only questions I have though is do you automatically do each process one after the other, i.e. oil pulling, rinsing and brushing teeth, or do you leave it for a little while? My teeth felt quite soft when I brushed them straight away. My other concern is does it hharmfully affect cavities or erosion as I have both?

  • I'm going to try this tomorrow morning :D! The only thing is I used to brush about 20 mins after I had my breakfast, before going out. Should you really be brushing your teeth before you have your breakfast? Thanks!

  • doesn't it hurt swishing for 20 minutes?

  • Natasha, Will this make me gag or get sick the first several times?( your teeth are really pretty)

  • Is coconut oil expensive

  • does Pure Sesame Oil work?

  • the person that voted down..had no teeth lol.

  • @BobbyEnergy maybe they lost them?

  • all i have is cooking oil/ olive oil, would that not work?

  • @Animalrights543 You can try but when i used olive oil it tasted way to strong. I had to spit it out pretty much straight away. I've started using sesame oil and it's a lot easier.

  • can u use cooking oil

  • be warned this isn't "FUN" as she says, the first few times you do this can makes you gag violently and can make you sick...and as with most remedies it can makes symptoms of whatever your trying to cure with this technique....the symptoms can get worse before it gets better....it's also best to start off with a small amount like a teaspoon before you go up to a tablespoon.

  • why salt water?

  • Natasha please tell me The brand of coconat oil did you use during this video thanks.

  • Why can't I eat breakfast first my teeth feel so clean after I don't want to eat afterwards.

  • why can't you do this after breakfast? I tried this and it is not bad at all my teeth felt really clean and then I had to eat breakfast so I was wondering if I could do it after breakfast.

  • very cool!

  • Look How I Get My Teeth White Watch My Video :)

  • your really great. thanks babe. :)

  • ancient indians do you mean like the asian indians or red indians (native americans) i'm confused here :P

  • @Claymore2408

    asian Indians

  • Natasha,

Is there any reason this should be spit into the toilet instead of the sink? I looked this up on other sites and everyone recommends spitting it into the toilet and not sink but doesn't say why. I prefer not to spit things into my toilet... bring back bad memories of the flu. haha

  • @loudlouisa It's superstition that the oil contains toxins and should be flushed down the toilet rather than your sink!! Just spit it out in the sink, no worries!!

  • @RawRadiantHealth

spit oily stuff in the sink and you might have a clogged pipe some weeks later....

  • @RawRadiantHealth

Coconut oil coagulates below a certain temperature, so the used oil can block up your pipe if you are doing it every day. The toilet has a bigger diameter pipe and won't get clogged as easily. Better yet, spit it in the bin over your rubbish so you are not polluting the water course.

  • @bilko1971 Coconut oil doesn't pollute water. Shampoos, shaving cream, toothpaste, perfumes, face creams - basically most western chemical products pollute water.

  • @acidcrashguy Organic products don't pollute water I use.

  • @RawRadiantHealth I believe that perhaps another reason why you'd spit into the toilet (I've also heard into the trash) especially with coconut oil is because you'd muck up the pipes. If coconut oil is solid at room temp, I'd hate to have that stopping up the works!

  • @loudlouisa

I just listened to a video that says the oil is able to actually block your sink (over time I guess!) perhaps that is the reason...

  • @loudlouisa ''Toxins'' do you really want that in your sink? I know I don't so unhygienic. It is common sense to use the toilet after toxins are removed from the body. It's up to you what you do.

  • @loudlouisa The buildup of the oil among other things that go down the drain pipe like hair could potentially clog your sink. If you are not worried about not clogging your sink I don't see any reason why not to do it.

  • @loudlouisa coconut oil is good to use, but it can clog drains, spit in the trash.

  • Im going to try this out, but this kinda sounds like a dumb question....but brush your teeth regular , like with toothpaste? Or just brush it with like water?, Thanks , And one more question does it matter if you brush your teeth more than once? Like 2-3times or ?...

  • You'r teeth are beautiful and pearly white! I'm definitely trying this

  • I am a dental technologist. This poor lady has had her two centrals and what looks like one of her laterals replaced by not very esthetic or properly contoured crowns, and they are two white for her natural skin color. So her teeth really are not pearly but done poorly by some other technician and dentist. Bummer.

  • Hey Natasha,

Do you know the specific reason(s) for why one must or should do it first thing in the morning / on an empty stomach?

  • Oil pulling stimulates the digestive system, so you should do it on an empty stomach or else it would interfere with the digestive process.

  • I suppose that could be it. Sounds right. Thanks.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • You have beautiful teeth!

  • i would try it, but have heard since the oil pulls out toxins, it can take out your silver/mercury fillings and that over time they may come out.

Have you had any problems with your fillings if you have any?

Also in the morning may be a problem to do this as i need my espresso when i wake up.

  • @kajehgb

Did you ever find an answer to your question? Does oil pulling affect fillings?

  • Thank you Natasha. I will try this.

  • What I can use instead of coconut oil? Maybe flax seed oil? Or sunflower or olive?

  • Doesn't this taste really gross?

  • It tastes Ok :)

  • Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • thanks! Thanks! You can't imagine how much i need this ^-^!!

  • Im curious natasha, who is it that holds the camera???

  • Is it okay to gargle the liquified coconut oil? Is that even more beneficial than simply swishing it around your mouth?

  • Interesting, I'll try it!

  • Yes this really does work!

  • She's right this does work every well and also can be used for gum infections and toothaches. You can add several drops of oil of oregano if you have an infection
