And if u would have sat on the other side, u would have seen the entire city of El Paso. U probably thought the plane was gonna land on RWY 4. They rarely land on RWY 4, depending on the winds.
@elevatortimes Actually I picked this seat because of the view after taking off from Phoenix. There's really nothing to see when approaching ELP. Just sayin'.
@Erich64x2 mmmm it depends how u come in. Coming from the east, there isnt a lot to see. Coming in from the west, there is the city to see. There is a lot to see coming in on RWY 4. But like I said its rare that happens.
Every time u land in El Paso, its always so bumpy. They dont land right, and u can tell compared to landings in other cities. I have a video recently taken coming in on SWA from Dallas, and when the plane got close to the runway, it slowed in the air and dropped and kept going. I also have a video of SWA taking offf on RWY 22 heading to Austin that will be up soon.

@Erich64x2 Private not Commercial

@RoRcrashslave It's all the same concept.

@Erich64x2 I get what you are saying but Private pilot training does not make you able to comment on a airline landing.
RoRcrashslave 1 month ago
@RoRcrashslave Dude it was freaking bumpy. There's no training required to realize that.
Erich64x2 4 weeks ago
@Erich64x2 Fair enough but just don't criticize a commercial pilot when you are only private, it is just stupid.
RoRcrashslave 4 weeks ago
@RoRcrashslave I wasn't criticizing anyone.. it was the weather.

@Erich64x2 Alright no hard feelings.

@elevatortimes Now I would love an 8R approach. That would be interesting for sure.

@Erich64x2 I have a video of an 8R approach. Look at the video landing El Paso coming from Houston Hobby (Rare El Paso landing)
