During the day if it's warm there's no issues with fogging up. It's at night if the temperature drops or if it rains that it becomes an issue. Ventilation does help to a certain degree.
This is cool, I wish we had something like this here in the states. I am going to build one like these to try and commute to and from work. I would love to know more about how they work. Does the window fog up a lot or does ventilation help keep it clear.

Excellent video. Really highlights how hard the top 3 were racing before the fogging set in and it became a battle of 2 teams.
