Coming from a asian guy who is not to keen on the new bollywood movies, I made an exception to watch Kites due to its uniqueness. I have to admit no bollywood movie ever has left me stunned, this movie had all the elements 4 instant classic. In my opinion this was by far the best bollywood film in the last decade. Its such a shame that the India market are far too stubborn to embrace something different and fresh as this movie. I hope in time, this movie gets the recognition it deserves...

@TropicalLove07 Well i havent watched them, lyk i said i am not too keen on the new bollywood movies, i would rather prefer to watch the older movies from 60s 70s 80s 90s. But bollywood movies 2day seem to have nothing but over the top sex appeal such as provocative half naked girls and unnecassary seductive dancing. OK this movie may have had a few elements of sexual scenes but it corresponded to the theme of romance and not just for the sake of it.

This movie was a load of crap, the biggest failure for Hrithik in 2010 along with Guzaarish. Hrithik needs to strike back at the Box Office, or his career is going down the drain in 2011!
