In a Green sense: Fill the glass halfway, Put your palm over the rim of the glass and shake furiously. empty and repeat twice. Saves water.

Also, ring out the sponge, it'll last longer and not get as mildew-y.

In a Philosophical sense: Before you even begin to wash your glass, dont ask "How you do it" Ask "Why you do it"

Just wasted 10 seconds of your life reading this ( or all eternity if you actually ponder the "why")

Never clean the glass vessels the green part, because it scratches and breaks the glass.
