I drive a 2000 V6 mustang with a few bolt ons. I have many friends with civics, jettas, preludes, who drive my car and fall in love. I know its not the fastest thing out there but I love it. I get compliments on it all the time. I was 15 and in high school when I bought it so I think the v6s are great for people who like american made cars but dont have the cash to buy a brand new V8. And believe me my stang has gotten me into lots of trouble.
I drive a 06 v6 pony package.. its a great car!! I get compliments all over the place. another 2 years I'm upgrading to the 5.0 though.. I did my research.. its actually better in gas then my 06 4.0 lol! From my part I'd never buy a Honda.. I'm 28 years old.. thats something high school kids drive for a first car. My insurance just went dirt cheap as my record is fantastic so 5.0 here I come :) Best thing I find in mustangs though is they don't need much body work.. they look good already.

@carollshelby500 to tell you the truth, I would rather drive a clean honda than a v6 mustang. but i would rather drive a v8 mustang over either of those.

The 4.0s are almost enough stock to beat out a 1994-2005 GT stock.
You spend a couple thousand and you'll have to problem taking down older GTs.

@chantry182 a 4.0 cannot beat a stock 03 cobra at anything other than gas mileage. They run 15 flat stock, 03 Cobras are in the mid 12s
