Yes our local industry always imitates that of the US Hollywood. But I see it this way, most hoi polloi especially in the province knows a little bit of holywood and they are less interested in it because of language barrier, so maybe that's why our local movie industry is bent on imitating US films so that the hoi polloi can enjoy what we(those who usually watch foreign films) enjoy in foreign movies, even in low quality local films. Just my 2 cents.

Yes our local industry always imitates that of the US Hollywood. But I see it this way, most hoi polloi especially in the province knows a little bit of holywood and they are less interested in it because of language barrier, so maybe that's why our local movie industry is bent on imitating US films so that the hoi polloi can enjoy what we(those who usually watch foreign films) enjoy in foreign movies, even in low quality local films. Just my 2 cents.

Sa tingin ko wala namang masama kung magkahawig yung story ng mga filipino film sa hollywood film.. Kasi yung concept lng naman yung pareho sa kanila but not the whole story. Tyaka bakit di muna natin panuodin then saka tayo mag salita kung ginaya lang talaga.
