Major's Mask wasn't too good, considering the rest of the Zelda games.

The introduction of the new villain was pleasant, though.

For me, it was one of the lesser games, with an extraordinary story line.

The whole dark atmosphere of it all made it enjoyable.

A remake would kill what it had, but Nintendo should make a game with darker stories.

@Inphinitii I guess people dont like it because it was nothing like the rest of the zelda games, i understand that, I hate, repeat, HATE phantom hourglass becuase it didnt feel like a zelda game at all, with its tower and whatnot, (i didn't like spirit tracks much either, but it was much better than playing phantom) And i guess i should reword my idea, yes, a darker zelda game would be enjoyable.

I haven't played Phantom Hourglass, and I refuse to do so due to what I've read about the games simplicity.

It's a shame Nintendo is trying to pump out these games in quantity instead of making one quality game that defines the series, similar to Ocarina Of Time.

Twilight Princess did a decent job at applying the dark story. Aside from the whole wolf idea, the game was quite amazing.

agreed, Zant was an a great character (wish the boss battles where a lot tougher tho :P) And if phantom came out when i turned 12, then spirit just a couple months ago, 2 games in about 2 years, and if u include cross bow training, 3 games in 2 years, and if u look back at how long a game like twighlight took, i remember they announced it when i was in 2nd, yes 2nd grade and was released when i was in 5th grade, yes, it realy shows a diffeerence in effort, running out of characters to type with

I recommend you play Link To The Past if you already haven't. I played it when I was about 9, and it's been my favorite Zelda ever since.

Also: The Oracle games are excellent, so you might want to emulate those, as well :P

I have played orcale of ages, and beat it, i remember getting stuck somewhere in the final dungeon and resorting to a walk thru, I also have been diving into the dragon quest series, i beat dragon warrior one actually this morning,

But the gameplay goes by so quick that if your not constantly saving you are screwed biig time cause you will have no idea what you have done, where you are, or what to do. And then your stuck being upset about not being able to find all the things you had found before.

Except one time when i was 8, i was playing ratchet and clank for ps2, and was abot to have beaten the game in only 8 hours as a new personal record. Then the game froze. Then i restarted it and realised a hadn't saved for 7 hours :( i stopped playing because of that lol. I didn't feel like doing everything all over again.

Definitely though, link to the past is an amazing game. My favorite is ocarina of time though, I really love the plot. It actually took a pretty decent iq to beat the game quickly. I played through it a few times when i was like 6 and 7.

Definitely a great game for challenging yout mind and problem solving skills lol. I think Every kid should play them.

It's already revealed that this is going to take place after Ocarina Of Time, in the adult timeline.

If you don't know the split timeline theory, look it up, it's quite a nice watch/read for a huge Zelda fan. :]

I was scared to death by Ikana canyon because Zelda is a very living adventure game. Everything's so real because of the old-time thrustworthy so therefore Ikana was really real to me, everything's real in those games I think. It was so sad, throughout the story all the bad stuff that happened with all the people in Termina, and then trying to fix what is wrong but it all goes to waste because you have to travel back in time.
