Do not forget that Benetton (which was a good car) was using Pirelli which in certain occasions ( like Monaco of that year) or under certain circumstances where better than Good Year. i remember that the strategy of mcLaren for Senna during few last Gp was too much defensive and Senna himself disagreed with that. For instance, on this race, he had a mixt between right and left of medium and hard although soft was more aggressive and less conservative on that circuit

I believe on a start of every race, a V8 car will always weight less, Schu's Benetton Ford had the advantage. Why nobody says anything about the brilliant drive of Prost and Alesi?

Well, power is not all that matters. Alesi himself passed V10 and V12 cars in some races in 1990 when he was using a Ford DFR V8 with 70-90hp LESS than Ferrari, McLaren and Williams. It's about a great car and the brilliance of the driver...

This is a good race. It features an early but still amazing Schumi, and of course one of the best overtakes in F1 history.
