I served on Okinawa and as I recall from speaking to a bar owner in KinVille outside of Camp Hansen the protestors were paid. The reason for the payment was that Okinawa is the Hawaii of Japan and the land the bases occupy would be worth millions. His small bar was bought for in US dollars over 600,000 dollars. Land is at a premium. So I wonder about the slant of this story also? Who benifits if the US Military leaves Okinawa?

Should the Americans stay in Okinawa to continue providing security in the region from possible attacks by North Korea or should they leave? and who knows, if US leaves, China will become more aggressive towards her neighbours,now that its military force is growing. If Japan would be targeted it would be because of the US base in Okinawa.
Almost every Japanese citizen hates the US military presence - when Okinawa asked to relocate the base near Tokyo or some other major city in Japan not a single onof them e wanted it and had essentially been asking Okinawans to put up with the American military for the rest of the country which they didn't find fair and angered them further.
No one wants war but American presence will cause it.

The torpedo was of German origin -- a type of missile incompatible with North Korea's limited technology and only sold to select nations that include South Korea. If a false flag operation like the Gulf of Tonkin actually happened, is it really that difficult to consider the possibilities? I don't think so. Proof is something that South Korea and the US need, not "this Wayne guy."

I personally think this is an outrageous statement, that the south korean government has sunk their own ship just in order to keep USarmy on japan. The whole theory seems to be a load of shit and even though South korea did such thing, there is no purpose in doing so. Why would a small country like south korea want to wage a war against other country. Apparently, many responses of this video are composed by far right-wing Japanese or ten year olds. So you are saying Korea killed its own 46 navy sailors to provoke a war with North Korea? If war was to happen, it is pretty much guaranteed South Korea will collapse and never be able to stand again since most of North Korean cannons are targeted to Seoul where 50% of population live. Moreover, there is an agreement between North and South that South cannot initiate any attack on North. Grow up.
