this song reminds me of my "grandfather". he died in 2008 of a heart attack. He was like my grandfather because my grandfather from my fathers side died when i was 1, and my moms side had divorced with my grandmother, i never got to meet him. :(

@nicoleoleary44 i had a brother just like that. he finally was arrested by my mother and i. now, three years later, he has been fully rehabilitated. although he'll never be the same, he will always be my brother and he appreciates what we did. hang in there, because your brother will appreciate it. keep your faith, and your brother knows he loves you. i'm sorry for your hardship, but just try and stay positive. good luck. <3

i hate to say it but suicide hasn't always been seen as something bad. it is our western culture, our Christian Ideals that have made us see suicide as a "sin" and not a "honorable" way to die because we feel we have "failed". Christians believe we should be forgiven for our sins before w die so we do not desecrate our mortal bodies so we can be disposed of as they see fit as according to their beliefs
I rember this song, it has helped me get through the death of my son Rick, drinking and driving, if he had got pulled over that night it would have been a DUI, thats what they told me, out of 5 people he was the only one that died, thank god, i miss him so much, he was at a party that a mother provided achold for under aged kids, he was only 18.

Suicide is nothing but rejecting the love of all the people who care about you, insisting that your pain is completely unique, refusing to believe that other people could understand you (because that would make you just like everyone else), and giving the world the finger for the last time.
Suicide is the most selfish and self-centered thing anyone can ever do.

Hearing this song brings back memories man; Times when i thought no matter what i do my bf won't get any better but somehow he did. i remebe a couple of months back me and friends were hanging out and we were drinking but i was drunk yet it takes 20 cans of beer to get me drunk anyway. we were walking in the streets. then we heard car coming we got out of the way but my friend he didnt hear the car coming and right before he got hit a push him out of the way and i got hit instead
