So George drank? Ever thought what a dog's life these stars led? It was a bite and a run. It killed Gentleman Jim and Billy Jo among others. The tensions between normal couples are bad enough but stuck in a coach bouncing about America to sing the same old songs time and time again? But they had some happiness..............
@revol121 Yes, you are right. He had a drink problem which I read, wrecked his marriage to Tammy Wynette. But I try not to be too judgemental, we all have demons and problems. What I do know is that he has brought pleasure to millions of people over the yearswith his superb C&W singing.
I truly believe that George still loves Tammy even after death........I think they did love each other but couldn't live together .....that does happen.
This is real country not that peace of garbage they play now. True country when America was economically strong. Those ware the good old days that will never come back.
Perhaps he meant it at the time. We have no idea what Tammy was really like, whereas poor old George couldn't stand the strain.Unusual track, thanks.
ZMIRACLE1 Thanks for your comments. Like you I think this is great.
As I said above in the uploader comments I had to edit severely because the recording was talked over and I had to cut his voice out. I am afraid it is the best I can do. As I have been unable to find another version of this song anywhere ,it will have to do for the time being.
@rugbybem If you're trying to find videos for a song called "Wedding", that would explain why you can't find any other versions. Look up the song by its actual name, "The Ceremony" and you'll find at least a couple more videos of this song.
This is so great. For some reason, though, parts of it skip and waver. Would you be willing to upload it once more. Thank You for giving us such a classic.
