I think the song is charming, but it just emphasizes even more how FF8 is a romantic adventure. It's like the main point of the story was to bring rinoa and squall together and Ultimecia was an afterthought. Personally, saving the world seems like a much bigger deal than clingy, high maintenance girl. Then again, they ARE teenagers...lol

and I like FF7 more. There are darker elements and the characters are more mature...except Yuffie. No hate towards FF8 tho.

My favorite Final Fantasy game had to be FFVIII hands down. And I love Eyes on Me. Though no offense to the video maker, but I think that the font used in this video for the lyrics is horrible. It reminds me of halloween/melted wax. Not really suited for this song in my opinion.

Of course 8 is more romantic than 7. 7 is more about the World how it gets destroyed, manipulation and losing all that stuff. And in 8 we have muuuch much more love. Firt Squall and Rino who starts to fall in Love, Xell, and co. But for me it was Laguna, that was the best and the Song ios about that, so touching (T__T)

i liked ff7 for the gameplay, but the story sucked, it just switches to different things randomly in the story, whereas ff8 the story is consistent and maintanes that consistency when it switches from taking out G-army to assassinating the sorceress to going to the future and stopping the sorceress controlling other sorceresses

because squall is Laguna's son and Rinoa is Julias daughter and its symbolises their love was so deep it carried on through their genes and fate finally put them together, so squall, laguna, rinoa, julia it was destiny, the song was written about. thats what i reckon anyways :-p
