  • Where is the whole fight, they only show the first one!

  • Puras mamadas ustedes dos........hold hands and walk down the aile liandras!!

  • De La Hoya was not even in his prime here yet. He was mostly a left handed boxer. 4 anyone who doesn't know boxing, he didn't effectively use both hands until around 1999. u could make the argument that chavez wasn't prime but also that Oscar wasn't prime so it was a fair fight. Oscar drank/partied a lot too so no xcuses on either side. Both r badass Mexicans so I don't c the reason for raza 2 b divided on these 2 gallos. Neither 1 ducked n e fighter so fuck records. chavez had power oscar speed

  • what was chaez a hundred years old here. maybe not in years but what he had won 99 fights by this time so as far as number of fights he was a shot fighters. no glory goes to del la hoya here. i have seen the hopkins, trinidad, mayweahter, whitaker fights against del la hoya. del la hoya was a pretty boy not a fighter. chavez would have murdered him in his prime.like tyson del la hoya was a bum that was loved by the media

  • @bobber0623 Why would you call Oscar a bum. Tell me, what have you accomplished in your life that surpasses any of his accomplishments? He's a gold medalist, he's a six division, 10 times world champion and defeated 17 world champions. And is a multimillionaire. What are you?

  • @bobber0623 Haha jealous!!! Chavez took the fight did he not? Chavez in his early career fought a lot of taxi drivers and pigeons. Dont get me wrong he is a great legend but his record much like his sons is inflated

  • No mames JC Chavez is the best boxer ever period. Just look at his record in his boxing carrer. dela hoyos does not even come close to chavez.

  • @atlasdguad77 Uhm no he isnt. Hes no Ray Robinson, Marciano,Ali, Willy Pep, Hagler, Leonard. I dont even think he would have beat Manny or Floyd. But def a top 15 fighter

  • @GLazz85 hello my friend. He has a better record than all of the ones you mentioned, except for Robinson (i guess)....I understand that it is hard to recognize a Mexican but be fair...

  • @Epileph Why is it hard to recognize a Mexican are you racist? I mentioned fighters not about race but by talent. Is Chavez the greatest Mexican fighter of all time? I would say yes. That says a lot since Mexico has a long lineage of great fighters. Does that make him the best fighter ever? No. BTW do research before you respond. Maciano was undefeated. Ali, Hagler and Leonard fought the absolute best of their era. Willie Pep 229-11. Chavez didnt have better records

  • @GLazz85 i couldnt be racist against mexican since I am one. Nobody that knows boxing history would dare to say that Chavez Sir was the greatest of all times. And it would be nice if you could research on the records, because my friend he does has better records in number of fights without loosing over almost all of the ones you said. Peace man

  • @Epileph

ALI Record: 56 Wins, 5 Loss, 37 Kos

    Hagler 62 Wins, 3 Losses, 2 Draws, 52 Knockouts

Marciano Record: 49 Wins, 0 Loss, 43 Knockouts

Sugar Ray Leonard 36 Wins, 3 Loss, 1 Draw, 25 Knockouts

Julio Cesar Chavez 107 wins, 6 Loss, 2 Draw, 86 Knockauts

    There you go baby!

  • @Epileph Im Mexican too, doesnt mean you cant be racist. Marciano is undefeated you cannot do better than that. Ali fought better competition as did Leonard. Hagler and Chavez both had a 93% winning Pctg and Hagler also fought better competition. So you are an idiot if you are trying to use those stat for your argument....you just proved mine. I dont even know what the hell you were trying to say about your friend that made no sense at all. Thanks for making my point for me

  • @Epileph I didnt insult you.....I wasnt calling you an idiot. I said you are an idiot if you think that Chavez is better than the fighters mentioned. Doesnt mean he isnt right behind them. For some reason my last comment wasnt posted but basically it said that Chavez's best wins Rosario, Lopez, Camacho and Taylor cannot be compared to Hagler, Hearns or Duran which Leonard beat....as for the other records maciano undefeated is better Pep was better Hagler and chavez same winning pct.

  • Comment removed

  • @chocruz83 What else is there to compare? 116 pro fights but more than half were to bums..Chavez Jr has more than 40 pro fights but to bums he isnt a legend. Its not the amount of fights but the quality. Ur right Chavez is right there with the best but behind the guys mentioned. Leonard fought better fighters Tony the Tiger Lopez is no Marvin Hagler. Ur an idiot if u think this is about American fighters its just about great fighters no race is intended.

  • @GLazz85 all of u depend on stats to prove who is better, most of the great fighters loose when they get old, fact, if they retire on time like Marciano did, records would b totally diffrent. and prob Marciano wouldn't b unbeaten in 116 pro fights (chvez) or 200 (Robinson) and also counts who u re fighting. Ali fought the very best but lost to Frazier & Norton during his prime, he won the 2nd two fights w/ them, Leonard lost to Duran in his prime and in their 2nd Duran wasn't even fit to fight

  • @chocruz83 Thats the fighters fault if they knew when to retire they wouldnt tarnish their records. In reality they fight for the money so if they took care of their finances like Hagler and Marciano they wouldnt be making clowns of themselves. The second Duran fight that isnt Leonard's fault.

  • So de la hoya wins both matches against Chavez by tko: first bleeding near the eye second bleeding in the mouth. De la hoya is better in his dreams. At this time Chavez was drinking alot in his career. . jajaja man yall make me laugh thinking a boxer that runs away, de la hoya, is better than a boxer that makes the fight, Chavez. . Chavez in his prime wouldnt be struggling in the 8th round like de la hoya. jajajaja

  • well pacman did it to de la hoya the same that de la hoya did it to chavez.

  • @enriqueluis28 NOt really de la hoya just weight drained himself chavez didnt against de la hoya

  • u guys obviously dont know anything about boxing. the ONLY reason de la hoya won was because chavez was already old, he shouldve retired before they fought the first time

  • too old, my money's still on a prime chavez, this was clearly a prime de la hoya.

  • LOl Chavez is better than de la hoya stupid chicanos

  • Chavez borracho.de la Hoya número 1

  • De la niña beat don piñatas twice fear and square!!!

  • Chavez quit like a little bitch

  • Chavez had this!!! ;( grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

  • Chave was old, De la Hoya is a Pussy, Chavez lost win hi had 89-0 -1 record and was the first time he get knockdown, in his prime he will kick the ass of De la Hoya

  • @Lauzumm De La Hoya will always own Chavez!!STFU you hater!!!

  • HEY GUYS 4 ~ AND FINAL! THE BOTTOM LINE? ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS ABOUT THE FUCKING MONEY!!!! IF THERE WERENT ANY POOR PEOPLE? THERE WOULDNT BE ANY BOXING OR MMA! THE POVERTY? THE NEEDS, THEFRUSTRATION, THE ANGER, THE RAGE! NOW PLEASE EVERYONE, GO CHECK OUT MY VIDEO! ~

  • HEY GUYS PT3~ CORRECTION IN PT2. *THOSE NOT WHOSE.. :P WELL, I THINK OSCAR CAN STILL OUT BOX PAQUIAO!! BUT HE ONLY GOT THE FIGHT BECAUSE 1, HE SELLS MEGA TICKETS! ( MOST FO HIS FANS ARE WOMEN) AND2- IF HE AGREED TO LOWER HIS WEIGHT TO 140! HE HADNT FOUGHT AT 140 IN A LONG TIME! SO THIS WAS BAD FOR HIS BODY, AND THUS PERFORMANCE... BUT MOST OF ALL HE DIDNT BOX! MANNY WAS JUST A LITTLE OVER HIS COMFORTABLE WEIGHT, AND WAS IN GREAT SHAPE! OSCAR COULDNT DO ANYTHING THE WAY HE CAME FOR THE FIGHT.

  • HEY GUYS PT2~ ( CORRECTION! *STIFF NOT STILL) IN PT1. - ANYWAY, WHEN DE LA HOYA MOVED UP IN WEIGHT, HE WOULDNT HANDLE THE BIGGER PEOPLE! AGAIN, BECAUSE HE MOVED UP TOOO MUCH! THE ONLY REASON HE EVER DID AS WELL AS HE DID, AS I SEE IT, WAS BECAUSE HE FOUGHT AT THE LIGHTER WEIGHT, 130,135,140,( I THINK HE WALKS AROUND AT 150-160LBS AND THATS HIS NORMAL WEIGHT! HE IS 5'10 DONT FORGET! SO THE NATURAL 130-135- 140 POUNDERS ARE JUST SMALLER... HE HAD A LONG REACH ADVANTAGE AT HOSE WEIGHTS TOO...

  • HEY GUYS... I DISAGREE WITH THE HACOMET COMMENT.. DE LA HOYA WASNT OLD!! HE WAS UNDERWEIGHT TO THE POINT THAT IT WEAKENED HIM FROM THE START. AND HE WASNT BOXING... IF U LOOK AT HIS PREVIOUS FIGHTS BEFORE BECOMING A MEGA MEAL TICKET, U WILL NOTICE HE BOXED OFF HIS TOES ALWAYS MOVING IN AND OUT AND USING A GOOD STILL JAB TO KEEP PEOPLE BACK.. ( HE ALSO ALWAYS FOUGHT 20LBS BELOW HIS WALK AROUND WEIGHT WHICH GAVE HIM A TREMENDOUS ADVANTAGE. THE LITTLE GUYS HE FOUGHT WERE EASIER TO HANDLE.

  • In their primes, Chavez would have destroyed him.

  • i dont know why people ever said Dela hoya had no heart he s a fuckin animal

  • @makaylah1100 Whoever said Oscar didn't have heart either;

    1. didn't know what they were talking about...

    2. didn't like him...

    3. Was just telling a damn lie, strait up...

  • @mookeychase0907 4. there just dericks

  • Chavez got his ass whhhooopppeeddd...

  • chaves was fukn tht foo upp

  • I have the short and beat the revenge of Chavez vs. De La Hoya. Someone interested?

  • You have to give Chavez 10/10 for balls.

You have to give Oscar 10/10 for ignoring his corner and making it a great round 8.

  • Chavez fought over 100 times! That's unheard of nowadays. We have fighters that have won less than 50 fights and claim they are one of the best. Chaves went 90-0 at one point.

  • People have different age limits. Their are boxers who can surpass 40 and still have it, like Hopkins. Then their are people who reach 30 and fall apart. In this case, Chavez is not those who can surpass 40..After his young years he fell apart.

  • @HaComet You talk the truth. Chavez is a legend. We all know that. But Father Time is undefeated.

  • what year was this???

  • Chavez never fought anyone so dont act like his wins mean anything. Out of all his fights you cant name more then a few guys that were good fighters. Also Meldrick Taylor beat him in his prime and he wasnt a great fighter. Regardless of the stoppage he was winning. Im not a huge DLH fan but he would beat a prime Chavez. His son is just like him. A bunch of fights but against nobody. His son is 42-0. Wow must be a great fighter.

  • This Situation Is The Same With The Paquiao - Dela Hoya Fight

  • i dont think chavez willl win given in same age.. the style counts. another mexican excuses

  • This was somewhat of a passing of the torch but by this time the coke, booze & women had taken its toll on chavez

  • I don't take anything away from dlh he was a great boxer but it was simply he was young and Chavez too old and to many fights under his belt.

  • Everyone is forgetting that chavez had faught100 fights by the time he taught dlh. How many did dlh had when he quit against PAC man?

  • Imagine this fight or the first fight...but when chavez was 23 or 25...chavez would fuck the shit out of de la hoya...that is a fact...

  • @MrLuisrod02

Chavez was a lightweight at that age and De La Hoya was a welterweight in this fight and that is a fact.

  • Chavez would still get rocked; De La Hoya too big too fast too strong. and a great chin

  • Why is everyone saying if Chavez was in his prime. What if Oscar was in his prime? he wasn't at this age. Imagine him fighting when he was 27, 28 where he is a seasoned vet. At the age he was here he was so young he could have made countless of dumb mistakes but fought like a vet.

  • @hennylo68 this was in 1998 oscar was 25

  • @hennylo68 ok let say de la hoya in his prime. compare his carrier with chavez carrer and there is no way that u can actually sat that the la hoya was better de la hoya did awasome in my ipinion im no hater he was one of the best ut i f u put both of them and their prime i can defenally see a KO by chavez ..... u know what also u can also si the sparring session betwenn them. de lahoya leand a lot of his punches causes chavez let him do it but one shoot by chavez send to de canvas to DLH

  • @antoniooleabibiano I don't know but that wasn't the point, the point was if they both faught in both of their prime when they were at their best.I don't think Chavez could handle Oscar's power and his athletic ability. But their achievements depend on how you look at it. Are you looking at it based on their prime. Cause Oscar was a very young champ. And he also held 6 titles in 6 different weight classes which was never done before. Now of course Oscar fucked up his career.

  • @hennylo68 Thing is Chavez was a bad ass (Champion) at the age of 22.. he already had a 30+ wins to 0 zero losses record in Mexico before coming to the United States..

  • @deckan315 Right but who has Chavez really beaten that made you say wow. Yeah I'll give it to him he faught alot of fights and won all of them but against who? No big name really sticks out unless you really do some research.

  • @hennylo68 U CANT FIGHT AT ALL U PUSSY ASS LOW LIFE BITCH U AINT SHIT GO LAY IN PISS U BITCH

  • @hennylo68 BITCH U SCARED TO RESPOND TO MY MESSAGES IN YOUR IN BOX FAGIT U KNOW I KILL U FAST BITCH ASS FAGIT

  • @hennylo68 U SEE MY COMMENT BITCH U SCARED TO DEATH U SHAKING AND EVERTHING BITCH BECAUES U KNOW U DIE FOREAL NEED I MAKE SURE

  • @hennylo68 Meldrick Taylor was one of his early fights that even though has much controversy is still considered one of the best fights of the 90's... He also fought the golden boy and won his first bout against him even though he was already in his 30's and golden boy was fresh out the olympics.. i does suck that almost ten years later they fought again, but by that time chavez was to O.G. and lost.

  • @deckan315 I think even in his prime he couldn't beat Oscar. Del la hoya just had to much athletic ability for him. Just a rare combination of speed, power, size and agility would have just been to much for Chavez.

  • @hennylo68 It's all a matter of opinion... statistically chavez would win. but everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

  • @deckan315 So you think if you put them both at the best time in their careers Chavez would win?

  • @hennylo68 You know... I remember being a young boy watching the decline of Chavez's career and the rise of the Golden Boy's... To my father, there is no other mexican warrior with a record nor the heart of Chavez. Watching De la Hoya fight was always exciting and he had a lot of technical prowess, though his career was short....

  • I think it would be safer to say that they were both accomplished fighters with their respective fighting styles and mindsets.. One just had his head on right and now has his own fighters while the other one works for a T.V. network.

  • @hennylo68 ur an idiot oscar was in his prime here

  • @rogersahagun Your mama is an idiot, and Oscar was just young here, he wasn't in his prime. 2 or 3 years later is when he became seasoned and in his prime.

  • @hennylo68 FUCKINNN DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @hennylo68 DIE BITCH ASS FAGIT IF I WAS BOXING U IN THE RING I STEP ALL ON YOUR FUCKIN HEAD TO IT BUST BITCH

  • @TheDeck102 I will knock you out in the first 40 seconds of the first round, Tyson style nigga.

  • @rogersahagun YEA HENNYLO68 A BITCH

  • @rogersahagun LOOK AT THE HENNYLYO PAGE HE WANT LET PEOPLE COMMENT BECAUES HE A BITCH AND SHOULD DIE

  • @rogersahagun MAN DONT EVEN WORRY A BOUT HIM HE A LOSER THAT SITS ON YOUTUBE ALL DAY AND CALL PEOPLE NAMES FOR NO REASON U CALL HENNY U SEE HIM

  • @rogersahagun HE SAYS HE A Real estate agent hennylo68 FAKE ASS BITCH AND HE DROPED OUT HIGHSCHOOL SO HE DONT KNOW SHIT A BOUT BOXING I WANT TO MURDER THIS BITCH SO BAD BUT HE WANT TELL ME WHERE HE LIVE

  • I've seen these guys fight twice now.

Never mind Chavez's age, it's De La Hoya's size that is way too much for him. In their respective primes, De La Hoya and Chavez were in different divisions. Even in their first fight, I read that De La Hoya weighed 150lbs when he got in the ring and how many Chavez fans would bet money on him against a top quality Junior Middleweight?

  • Chavez was a great fighter once but he fought way past his prime. Some guys don't know when to quit.

  • Mas borroso imposible.

  • Comment removed

  • De La Hoya would've beaten Chavez at any time in their careers. Oscar was bigger, stronger and faster than Chavez and would've dance circles around Chavez at any time. If Whitaker and Taylor outboxed him, De la Hoya would've done the same thing. If you wanna make the age excuse, fine, you're just fooling yourselfs. Humans evolve and Oscar is a generation ahead of Chavez...

  • @chifuli1974 I agree

  • @chifuli1974 well well well, you are in all chavez videos busting balls, I would say that youre a bitch hater obsessed with the guy, fuckin retard, prime to prime Chavez kills Oscar like he killed all the fuckin rican fags he faced, piss off bitch

  • @sly717 just like the many wops and wetbacks fucking arouind in JuanMa Lopez videos, now go and suck some cock and shut the fuck up, bitch...

  • @chifuli1974 go and dance your disgusting reggaeton you fuckin pezzo di stronzo monkey

  • @sly717 go to hell you spaghetti eating fag...

  • @chifuli1974 LOL where at least here in the old country italians, black n mexican fighters are considered as tuff nails, real champs, Chavez as an example, ricans are fags, i repeat, go n dance your ass off "daddy junkie"

  • @sly717 don't like that shit, I'm a Salsa guy, you can say what you want about PR fighters but we have 67 world champions out of 4 million people, Italy ain't got SHIT!! Everybody knows Italians are fags and like young boys, just like in Roman times...

  • @chifuli1974 haha well at least we are a first world country not a third world shitty American colony island, today Mexico for example has 14 world champs, PR just 1, Cotto, I train boxing here in Cremona and the main sport here is football (soccer as Americans call it) not boxing, but the truth is that Mexicans and blacks are better fighters than Ricans vaffanculo you fag

  • @sly717 hahaha, very funny. I will have to break it to you but in world championship fights we are haead of Mexico 59-43. So before you talk shit know your facts. Are you Italian?? Cause Italy have NOTHING as far as boxing goes, so stop being a cheerleader for Mexico bitch. I guess you have a Mexican 16 yr old as your girlfriend and that's the reason you defend them like is you, or maybe a black dude??

  • @sly717 First world country is a push, the only thing good about Italy is the women, which you guys trade for 15 yr old boys...

  • @chifuli1974 Hahaha what a fraud you are, Mexico is behind the US the country with the most world champs in history, 209 til today, registered, haha "the only good thing about Italy", haha douchebag, we have 4 FIFA world championships, best cuisine in the world, fashion, sport cars, etc, wtf does PR has? reggaeton and bitches moving their big black asses, please, dont even dare to compare your shitty country, i mean island, with Italy, or even with Mexico, you monkey this is over

    arrivederci

  • @sly717 You're a fucking idiot! Italians ain't nothing but fags and mafia, go and give your ass to the pope and catholic priests fag, now is over. Adios pendejo...

  • lol chavez was 32 when they fought the 1st time so there is no excuse for his loss de la hoya was the better fighter end of ...

  • @sixfouimpala and 96-1-1 so with that record and chvez was champ the win in the 1st fight was legit so was the 2nd and why does and floyd fan give him credit for beating genaro hernasdez win de la hoya beat him when he was 32-0

  • Se rajo en la banqueta... Chaves puto mejicano!!

  • blah blah blah chavez lost and thats it i mean he shouldt of taken the fight its clear he wastnt going to win anyway and besides he was only 36 when they faught he was old but not that old.

  • @tan94319 my bad he was 36 the first time they fought

  • Im very PROUD of JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ.

de la hoya never knock him down even once.

And yeah chavez lost bcuz of his age i guess that makes de la hoya really proud. De la hoya should fight one of julio's sons now that he got older. We'll see whos laughing now.

  • I am pretty sure Chavez would've won if he was younger, but this kind of stuff always happen. You fight in your prime, become a legend then you get old then the new fresh generation comes and takes you down.I mean it just happened to De La Hoya too.He did alot in his prime, got old,and got taken down by a younger opponent. In this case Manny Pacquiao.Maybe the same might happen to Manny Pacquiao.Who knows. Its just the chain of boxing. You can't be young forever.

  • @HaComet Oscar's hand speed and height would have been a real problem for Chavez at any age

  • @HaComet it will happen to everybody man....if u retire near at the top of ur game ...then u might get away with it....the same thing with mayweather...if ortiz fights him then he'll be the superstar

  • @HaComet unless your name's floyd mayweather

  • @HaComet

Maybe. Mayweather's gonna beat Manny. Manny's wild, and Mayweather will capitalize. :-)

  • @HaComet Ok , but Chavez was much much better. He made history De la Hoya didnt. He didnt have more than 40 fights. You cant compare Chavez in 1000 times much better in History.

  • @HaComet I completely agree. I think that Victor Ortiz is like the new De la Hoya. As for Pacquiao, I feel like Amir Khan is going to take him out as the top #1 fighter. Khan was reminds me of Pacquiao, as Ortiz reminds me of De La Hoya even tho they fight different.

  • @HaComet So true! As much as I hate to see the greats go out like that, it is necessary in the sport of boxing. I consider it "the passing of the torch." Let the greats go out on their shield. Who knows, maybe the old great will be the "old great" during that fight. Look at Morales vs Maidana, everyone thought that the old man Erik Morales would show up, but no. The old blood and guts warrior stepped through the ropes on that night, it was a classic Morales fight, it was great!

  • Chavez and De la O make me proud to be Mexicano. My favorite boxer is Salvador Sanchez.

  • Old and all Chavez was a heavy-handed bastard, check the eye of Oscar it is closed completely in the end of the fight

  • The mistake that Chavez did was he didn't learn from the first fight, he didn't cut the ring off... Maybe he was so determined to KO Oscar that's why he was just following him. But watch how Trinidad had success with De La Hoya's hit and run style. Tito was was cutting the ring off.

  • @icecraz3 ACTUALLY TITO HAD LITTLE SUCCESS AGAINST OSCAR, HE WAS BEING HORRIBLY OUT BOXED FOR 9 ROUNDS TIL OSCAR STARTED COASTING AND GOT ROBBED!! DID U EVEN SEE THE FIGHT? LOL

  • @icecraz3 Watch the first 9 rounds of that fight and tell me where Tito had success.

  • Erik Morales was Wayy better than Chavez too.

  • chavez would destroy delahoya in his prime.oscar never won a big super fight.the whitaker win was a coin toss.the big fight losses were blamed on poor judging.

  • @reg5381 de la hoya beat quartey and Vargas chavez twice. Whitaker Owned Chavez. just like Taylor did. the Ref stopped the fight with 3 seconds left. what a jackass. Chavez couldn't fight real boxers. just joke fighter like Camacho.

  • @JoeyCage saying chavez record is full of bums is like sayin sugar ray robinsons record was full of bums so stfu..do you think ray robinson fought all 100+ of his fights wit champions? no thats right dumbass so dont hate

  • @zerofabian not 100% but come one ANSWER THIS if Floyd fought someone right now with 20 wins 20 losses, he would be frowned upon. Robinson fought everyone that was good and bad. Chavez didn't. He fought mexican losers. Don't EVEN compare Chavez to Sugar Ray Lol, thats just crazy, and ur the dumbass for mentioning him. Robinson is the greatest ever, Chavez isn't top 50.

  • @JoeyCage then why is chavez ranked on the top 50?..u obviously dont know about boxing...major fail

  • @JoeyCage

Of course he is top 50 dipshit, actually he is top 5 of the last 30 years check it out, he ranks 24 in "ESPN 50 greatest" and 18 in "Rings 80 greatest" if you don´t know shit about boxing fuck off please jagoff

  • @zerofabian Actually Chavez record was full of Mexican taxi-cab drivers. I always loved that one. Can't remember who said it though.

  • @mcentepede It was Greg Haigen, after he got beat he said, ok they were good cab drivers. Priceless...

  • @mcentepede greg haugen got his ass whooped for saying that xD

  • Chavez is a Joke. everyone who thinks he's the best doesn't know boxing. who the hell fights guys whos records are 10W10L when they've had already 80 fights? Chavez. he fought guys with shitty records and nobodys. 14-8, 51-22, 37-27, 5-2, get my point...i mean if oscar, manny or floyd would of fought guys like that he would of had over 100 wins too. Prime Chavez would of been dominated

by Prime Oscars Jab. Don't let the record fool you.

  • Wow, Chavez, great performance, so tough, De La Hoyas left eye was almost closed here in the 8th round. But DLH's youth won out. Chavez would have eat him alive in his prime.

  • @faustozone Yeah De La Hoya's youth had something to do with the outcome. But this isn't De La Hoya in HIS prime. He wasn't in his prime until about the Trinidad fight so you can't assume based on THIS fight that Chavez in his days would have a chance.

  • @quiksilver02ss De La Hoya was a pussy against Trinidad. Chavez would of destroyed dela hoya in 6 rounds if they would fight in their prime.

  • @MrRedskins0021 Not with Oscars footwork, quick stiff jabb and powerful left hook.

Chavez never had great footwork that's why Pernell Whitaker out boxed him and beat him in many peoples eyes. And how was Oscar a pussy against Trinidad? Look at Trinidads face in the fight. It was beat up and confused. Trinidad refused a rematch because he knew best. Chavez Jr. doesn't even think highly of his dad's skills that's why he went out and hired Freddie Roach.

  • @quiksilver02ss you are talking about JCC, the best fighter in the history of the sport, you know what 89-0 means, no one, not even mohamed ali can say that, and if JCC jr hired freddie, it's because he ir a fucking MORON, but besides that, JCC skills, and strength are not under eny circumstance in doubt, his only oprobelm was the fact that he was mexican, if he happend to be american, they would already made a hollywood film about him.

  • hahahaah chavez is a pit-bull man .. he old and fighting even !! ..

chavez lost two times by this cut in the head and de la hoya raped cruelty by pacman

  • lights out chavez!!!

  • popor

  • In this fight DLH did not respect Chavez's punching power

  • a chavez LO ENTERRARON LAS DROGAS

  • Chavez looks so old in this fight. His handspeed is gone, his head movement much less than when he was younger.

You can see some of what made him great, but only bits and pieces of it.

I'm glad De La Hoya got raped by Pacquiao after watching this fight. I don't like his bravado after beating a great fighter well past his prime.

  • The reason why Oscar did that was Chavez not being a pro after there first fight.Chavez did nothing but insult Oscar after there first fight. This has been going on in the sport since the very beginning. Its not Oscars fault Chavez got old.Look at the first fight and what Chavez's record was,and Chavez was the champ. These fighters cant go on forever.Dont hate.

  • As Winston Churchill said "... in victory, magnanimity".

Well, actually, I don't hate De La Hoya, I felt bad when Pacman sodomized him, but now I don't feel bad at all. Pacman, of course, had more class, and didn't gloat after winning.

De La Hoya was never a great fighter. He was good though.

  • Your comments are pretty funny,i guess you dont know the meanings of the words you use.Sounds like you have Pacquiao out to be gay.

I didnt know they put NOT a great fighter but just a good fighter in the Hall Of Fame.Thats where Oscar is headed. Its hard to believe that just a good fighter won 10 titles in 6 different weight divisions.Keep owning yourself.

  • So wait, you've determined that De La Hoya's going to the Hall of Fame, and then are using it to validate your argument? So, I'm going to say De La Hoya won't, and then you've lost the argument? What kind of nonsense is this?

He may go, who knows, he was so famous and all, but he was never a great. He lost too many fights, even in his prime, and doesn't belong with the Leonards, Haglers, Holmes, etc... He's just not great like that.

  • De La Hoya is 100% going to the BHOF,so what dont you understand about my comment.Your saying he was never a great fighter and i'm saying that they dont put an average fighter in the BHOF.If you said that he wasn't going to the Hall, you would just make youeself sound even more ridiculous.Every boxing expert and analyst spoke those words about De La Hoya. And if you dont agree with that part of my argument, what about when i stated the fact of 10 time world Champ/6 different div.
