  • I have flown in a Gulfstream IV, and it was the best plane ride I ever was on. This is why Gulfstreams are arguably the best business jets in the world! I think so anyways. I have also worked around a Gulfstream G550 and a G-III

  • @videoproducer100 i still cant decide weather the embraer 650 or the g550 is better

  • @piloty5 - I like the 650, but the g550 I think would be better. You can fly further (12,501 km, vs. 7,223 km) and faster (cruise speed: mach 0.85, vs. mach 0.78). Both are very nice business jets though

  • @videoproducer100 true but isnt the 650 bigger?

  • @piloty5 - Actually no, the G550 has more cabin space, and can carry up to 19 passengers. The Legacy 650 can carry a max of 14 passengers.

  • @piloty5 - Also, the reason the legacy may look larger is there are more windows, but they are smaller windows. The nose also is stretched more, which makes it look larger

  • @videoproducer100 i never knew that. even though it carries less wouldent it be more room for each person, if its not to much smaller?

  • @piloty5 sent message reply to you

  • @videoproducer100 And now the G650 takes the reigns :P

  • @jbkimble28 - yes!!!

  • Looks like they have Pepsi colors on it . lol

  • saw this baby in the Philippines 3rd week of January...Nice!

  • The only thing missing on this GV is a coca cola bear logo...

  • @bluesuit5

... That would make it obvious who is on the plane... And they don't want to do that.

  • dude i wanna fly that plane

  • you would think that a company like Coca-Cola would use a BBJ or something rather than a Gulfstream V.

  • Coca-Cola has been a Gulfstream operator for over 30 years. I have pictures of all 3 Gulfstream II lined up at fairhope alabama in the 70s. Gulfstreams are the World Standard in business aviation. BBJs dont fit the criteria of Coke and its aviation dept.

  • No. Gulfstream makes really nice luxury jets. Coca Cola doesn't need a giant business jet. A bigger jet is more expensive to fly too.

  • Gold must of been on that plane

  • no.

  • i saw it, here in manila,, i tot it was a medium size jet, but when i get closer to it, its like a body of dash 8 Q3

  • What a sweet pilot gig that has to be!

  • its awesome. my dad flies for them and just got back form a 5 day trip to the galapagos islands and the caribbean.

  • @DMAC2812 ...Ask him if he knows my buddy Ken Woodsides, another CCE Pilot...

  • I sat in the jumpseat right in the middle of the cockpit when the private one that my grandpa works for was flying. It is a really cool plane!

    I sat in: N134BR - NOW N572EC G-IV

  • what are the flaps that extend from the engines called? each engine has two flaps (top and bottom) that extend during the landing.

  • Those are called trust reversers.

  • no. they are called Thrust reversers.

  • iur7 is correct. They act like brakes.

  • if you will watch closely, the moment the wheels touch down and the aircraft "squats' this closes a switch on the struts and the upper spoilers deploy. this disrupts the airflow and dumps lift and is part of the sequence that comes before the reversers are deployed.

  • Have a coke and a smile....and a Gufstream too...!
