No Vincent is not a vampire. He was genetically altered and experimented on. He has monsters that can manifest in him but aside from the fact that in 7 you find him in a coffin he shares no other similarities to vampires. He's still sexy as hell though. *Steals him and runs off*

He and Lucrecia fell in love FIRST and then he scared her off and she ran off and fell for some other guy and LEFT Vincent. The other dude started doing tests on their unborn child (Sephiroth) as a fetus, even though Vincent told her not to let him. He saw her get sick and confronted Hojo, who shot him and experimented on him. Lucrecia saved him and when he woke she was dead

He was Genetically Enhanced from the Experiments he had been forced to face because of Hojo but is still required a human though I may be wrong but after Lucrecia Crescent place the Chaos gene within Vincent I suppose that Chaos happends to be an "Angle of Darkness" fore he is Omega's squire to the lofty Heavens.

And you are right Chaos isn't demonic at all fore in the "Dirge of Cerberus" he is Omega's squire to the lofty Heavens like I've spoken before. Vincent's story isn't long which would have been best if it was and didn't kill Chaos though in the game they never spoken anything about him being a Vampire or Chaos just because of there appearance.
