@cinndave You are absolutely right about the income tax. Unfortunately, with all of this big spending by our government, they sneak taxes upon all of us while we are sleeping. For instance, they raise license renewals, state id/drivers license costs, and other goods that we purchase they raise taxes on. Let's not forget the most frightening tax of all, inflation. Inflation is the biggest fear in my opinion. I live in Illinois so I see first hand how snake oil govt. can be.

yeah, you're right. It was McCain who did well in the 2nd debate (the town hall format one) because he is great at off teleprompter stuff. Obama is an incredible speech-giver, but only when he's on a teleprompter. He's not so good at improvisation, whereas McCain is the exact opposite - terrible at a teleprompter, but amazing at connecting directly with people off-script.
